I have stayed at many hotels in the Austin, TX area and this one was not the best. When you first walked into the lobby, it had a bad odor of cat urine, which made us gag. Secondly, one of our bathroom walls had a large hole in it that was partially covered with paper. Looking into the hole, the inside of the wall was covered in mold. We were up late the night before, so we put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door so housekeeping wouldn't wake us. At about 10am, housekeeping was knocking on the door and trying to come in the room (checkout was not until 12:00 noon). Overall, it was not a pleasant experience and I will probably not go back to this hotel.

At check-in, desk clerk said pool was closed for repairs, but there was no sign of repairs going on the next morning when I checked out! On arrival, room had HEAVY smell from room deoderizer.... had to open window and turn on AC and leave room for a couple of hours, good thing I was not a late nite arrival or I never could have got to sleep with the odor that strong. Room was basic and clean. AC worked well, bed was clean, TV worked, shower was ok. Hotel is build on an incline, therefore there are 4 "levels" of each floor, with 5 steps up or down to each level.... a real pain when rolling a heavy suitcase down the hall ! It was a three story property, but only had ICE Machines on first two floors.. wanna guess where I was? Breakfast was the "cheapest" continental I've ever seen..... no, take that back, the cheapest was a Days Inn in Omaha where the bread came from a "day old store". This was only fair, with no fruit or yogurt, and only cereal, toast and a couple of sad looking mini-pastries. Coffee was ok and apple juice was ok. Tolerable for a guy on a business trip, would recommend another place for a couple or family, unless you have to travel on the cheap, then its a reasonably clean room at a good price in a quite location (at least on the weekend).

Bathroom tolit not properly secured to the floor (room 305) No Hot water first day, No phone service first day and Ice machine not working. All listed to the Manager."

If you are looking for a place to stay without having to look at the room, this Days Inn would be great. I did not know if the are renavating or in the act of renavating. The walls look cracked, the bed was place in a odd area and phone wires laid across open path. The staff was great. If I would have ask for something better, they probably would have done it.

Excellent and friendly staff. Able to give clear, easy to follow, driving directions. Very small pool. Safe in room was broken. Had to turn the air conditioning off during the day. What the hotel lacks in comfort, it makes up for in excellent staffing. If you are spending very little time at the hotel, it will be a good choice. We were even told to turn off the air conditioning when we left the room for the day. But, the room was always very clean, and the staff was always very friendly.

I found out that for the price that I paid for these hotel I could have stayed at a better place...the carpet in our room was dirty, the towels were cheap and the window unit air conditioning made a loud noise that did not let me sleep, I will never stay in this hotel chain for as long as I live...!

the halls were not airconditioned. there was an elevator, but each floor had levels that demanded climbing 5 or so stairs. the room was dark. lighting was poor unless the curtains were open

It was in disrepair, needs to be refurbished or torn down. I don't have anything positive to say about this hotel other than the staff were pleasant.

There was a different odor in every hallway, staircase, and lobby in this hotel. The room itself was bearably odiferous. Hallway door handles were falling off. Old stains on the sheets. Rickety old air conditioner with broken knobs. The room was really small. The sink console was ridiculously small. The iron was locked to the wall socket. Cheap styrofoam coffee cups. There are lots of corners being cut here.

It's location to the freeway is good. It had moldy rooms. My wife had an asthma attack. I think because they are trying to save money, they did not run AC when guests were not present which resulted in very moldy rooms. You could smell it and my wife had an asthma attack because of it.

Nothing! It was unclean and smelled bad. This hotel had bad service and I will not be staying here ever again.

AC worked. Very run down and almost left to stayed somewhere else. The entire place smelled like smoke. Very old looking and didn't even sleep under the sheets for fear of the lack of cleanliness. We will never stay at this hotel again. After this trip, we've discouraged others from staying here as well.

The hotel staff was great. Very helpful and social. Older and outdated. Too many stairs going to the rooms.

The staff was polite and accommodating. The look of the rooms and lobby needs a upgrade, breakfast should include eggs. Well located for freeway access with fast food and grocery located nearby. Staff polite and accommodating. The rooms and lobby area could us some renovation. The pool is little bigger than the size of two jacuzzi.

Water pressure was really low almost no hot water. I would not ever return to this hotel. The manager was never available, had to take two cold showers, hot never warmed up, was not able to give me a receipt, traffic was a mess (not the hotel's fault) cigarette burns in sheets.

Price. Not clean, outdated rooms, infested with insects, hard to access from I-35N. Terrible experience, this place was jumping with crickets! Everywhere. It was like a cricket farm at the front door. Found a few in the room, along with an unclean shower (past guests' hair). Manager was very helpful and understanding, moved us to the top (3rd) floor, opened door and cricket was waiting for us as soon as we entered!

Nothing. It was ghetto! I hated this hotel. There was stuff falling of the side of the building. Do not stay here. It was cheap for a reason. This hotel was ghetto. The beds were awful and the AC did not work. I would not tell my worst enemy to stay here. The parking lot was full of homeless people and was dirty. I will stay somewhere else next time.
