While in Providence I participated in the Rhode Island Senior Olympics. The motel was in a good location to the events.

It had electricity. It had a bug infestation. It sucked, bed bugs & a tick in the bedding in my first room, was told no other rooms available & had to come & get my fresh bedding myself because no one was available to to it. When I went to the front desk miraculously a new room was found. This one had no bugs but had a plumbing problem, the toilet flushed itself every 10 minutes. Not too accomodating for a good night sleep.

This is a Days Inn. It was clean, with typical Days Inn Breakfast and amenities. This is not supposed to be a luxury resort. The value for the money was just fine. The only issue was that it is a two level Hotel (There was a separate section which was above a lower grouping of rooms which required driving up a steep driveway. ) If the driveway was icy, getting up to the second level could be tricky. Otherwise, it was just what I would expect. If you expect a place like this to have "activities and restaurants", then it is not for you. Otherwise, I had a car and there was plenty to do within easy driving distance. I would stay again. Especially for business.

arrived friday night to find crack pipes , beer cans cig. packs in the ceiling of the bathroom. the hotel was disgusting. i have never felt so unsafe or gross in a hotel. there was blood on the mattress no bed cover and the blow dryer in the bathroom did not work. will never stay at a days inn again.

I was in Providence for one night, the staf was friendly, and the room was comfortable. Shopping and lots of restaurants very close.

Location, Services, great Location is great, and services are excellent.Safe place to stay.

I stayed at this hotel last winter. The accomadations are ridiculously bad. I had to let the water run in the shower for 20 minutes before the hot water made it from the back of the property to my room. At least that was the explanation of the manager. Perhaps they just turn it off when people aren't around, because there were only three or four other people staying at this pitiful hotel.

The room was tiny, cold, right on a busy highway and dumpy.

It was inexpensive and near where I needed to be. Desk clerk was rude, building was old and had shoddy repairs, noise from other rooms, cheap foam matterss. Upon my arrival, the desk clerk was rude/disrespectful - he ordered me to show an ID, rather than asking politely to see it.The building was old and shabby, the roof and exterior looked in need of repair, and there was evidence of remodeling with poor workmanship inside the room. The bed had a thick foam mattress that would dump you on the floor if you lay too close to the edge. Guests in other rooms were noisy all night and management did nothing to control this.I wasvery tired when I arrived, and I was even more tired the following day. On the plus side: I survived.

this hotel is so so. it is in a good location right next to shopping & food stores and right off the highway. it looks very clean inside & out but when you go inside it feels grime-y and moist. we changed rooms twice but both rooms had a pet odor. i guess becuase this location allows pets. they give you a so so breakfast, but its better than nothing . stay here if your going to be busy and not going to be in the room that much and bring a sented candle and lysol.

Washroom was quite dingy and dirty, towel rack kept falling, poor job with maintaining the upkeep of the building.

We had a great stay. Quiet clean rooms, nice breakfast and great service.

It was really quiet. It wasn't really up to date. It was really quiet which was nice. The breakfast was free, but there wasn't much of a variety. The room wasn't really up to date, but other than that it was an enjoyable stay.

This was a filthy hotel!!! The bathroom had urine on the floor, the bed smelled like vomit and you could hear every word from the room next door. The outside appearance is deceiving--DO NOT STAY at this hotel.

The gentleman at the desk was very helpful. The bathroom could have used a good scrubbing! It was fine for a nights stay but would not want to stay for more than that.

The room was nice and quiet. The front desk was not very knowledgeable about Providence. The hotel was only 10 minutes from down town Providence. The room was very nice and clean, but the bathroom had hair all over it, it was disgusting.

Clean, spacious and convenient for my business needs. This hotel was excellent for the price and the location was great for my business needs.
Date of Stay:

This stay was easy access from auto to door. During severe freezing rain / snow storm, didn't get wet. Wall paper thin. Older property, conveniently located, definitely a one-star hotel. Meats all the requirements for a business short stay; late arrival, early departure. Amenities sparse but what there are more than acceptable.
Date of Stay:
September, 2007
Quick access to the airport. Towels were of thin fabric. All things considered a clean place to sleep for one night.
