We chose this hotel for it's price and location and the good reviews it recieved on this website. Unfortunately it was completely disgusting. The floors, walls, and beds were all covered in stains. There was some very large stain smeared across most of the box spring of one bed that looked like blood. There were only 2 towels, even though the room slept 4 and they knew there were 4 of us in there. There was also only 1 bar of soap, even though the sink and mirror area was in the room, away from the shower and toilet. So we had to take the soap from the bedroom into the shower and then back again in order to have soap where you need it. The curtains weren't nearly long enough for the window, so the early summer sun came right in and woke us up at 5:30am. And the floor of the bathroom had a mysterious stickiness in front of the toilet. It was also home to several bugs. I can't comment on the breakfast because they closed everything up early, so we didn't get any. Oh yeah, the entire hotel reeked of cigarettes. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else!

Staff very friendly, Good location. Relatively clean. Would use this facility again. We were on the ground floor and the windows didn't open. We like fresh air. For the price, this was a very good hotel. We plan to use it again on the next trip to my brothers.

Front desk friendly and helpful. First room I checked into had a dirty bathroom. I called down to desk and they immediately offered a new room and brought up the keys. The 2nd room was seemed reasonably clean but the longer I stayed the more I noticed the built up grime. The walls and carpet needed a thorough scrubdown. I mentioned this to the front desk upon checkout. I would stay here again if necessary b/c it was one of the least expensive hotels in the area. My non-smoking room was truly a non-smoking room and the floor smelled smoke-free as well. Breakfast was marginal - decaf wasn't hot and mostly sugary stuff to eat but they did have some fruit. Staff was pleasant. Pool looked clean but I didn't have time to use it. Fridge and coffee pot in room worked fine. No microwave in room.

It was a good hotel. It was clean, safe, and nice. It was good for staying a night and hitting the road again. I wouldn't call it wonderful but the price is outstanding and better than staying in East St Louis. There is a Wal-mart close, Dairy Queen across the street, some restaurant that looked pretty good within walking distance. No sidewalks though.

Quiet. Front desk couldn't even tell me how to get to the airport.

We requested a non-smoking room. We checked in and were given a key to room 109; the door had a sign on it saying it was a non-smoking room. I didn't even make it in the doorway; smelled like FRESH cigarette smoke and like ashes were ground into the carpet. We then requested another room and were given a key to room 101. This one smelled like someone's wet dog had been in there. Requested a third room, got 207 and this one was decent. Staff was accommodating; we were as pleasant as we could be under the circumstances, but this was disgusting.

Good hotel for the price. The room was accommodating and the small cold continental breakfast was enough to get me on the road. Room was mostly clean with few cobwebs.

The Days Inn-Collinsville was a good price. We mainly needed it for sleep and didn't spend much time there other than that. The pool was small and cold. Breakfast was mediocre. The beds were comfortable and the room seemed pretty clean. The carpet was a little worn. The room was a little muggy- we were close to the pool- and it smelled a little funny. Overall it served it's purpose if you are trying to save money and need a good night's sleep. They had a computer to use in the lobby which was nice. The location is great! 10 minutes from downtown St. Louis without the high prices. Great place to eat one hotel down-BBQ Bandanas! We heard a couple of other guests with complaints but I am not sure what they were about.

"We had 4 couples staying at this hotel. A wedding party returned at 1am and partied in the lobby. The desk clerk did nothing to lessen the noise. A 2nd floor room left on the bath water, our 1st floor bathroom was flooded-the desk clerk brought towels and never checked back. The manager said ""he will make it better on our next stay."""

Perfect for our vacation. Small pool, but they had one. For our family vacation to Saint Louis, MO it was on the perfect location for everything. We only had to go 10 min to get to the tram to go to downtown Saint Louis. There was also a water and small Fun Park right next door that my children loved. Over all it is Perfect.

Good value-it exceeded my expectations. The pool was extremely small. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of service and the clean room. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a decent place to stay at a reasonable cost.

Large spacious room, computer available in lobby. Small, freezing pool. The motel overall was very nice, clean and hospitable. The day after our first night they completely forgot to clean our room. The housekeeping staff had already left. They did bring us clean towels and we had to request them to remove our trash. The next few days was fine.

Price and location. Was a place to stay the night?

Clean room. Shower water did not get hot enough. The pool was very small. For an economy motel this was not bad at all. I am glad that I was able to get a decent price and a no hassle reservation.

Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Small bathroom and small indoor pool. The hotel is within walking distance of a health club and a recreational park (water park, mini. golf). Overall good value for $.
