very nice beach hotel very close to the water, much closer then i thought it would be. Went out of surf season but still enjoyed myself. will go again maybe while it's surf season. Hotel was clean, staff was friendly.

Close to the beach, and stores. Housekeeping left sand all over tub, had to fix toilet myself and had a clogged tub that they fixed quickly. This was very close to the beach 5 minutes by foot cool! The pier and their food was good. The rooms could use a little updating.

My wife & I stayed here from 23-30 Dec. 2008. & were both very pleased with our stay. This was the best motel we have ever stayed at. Customer service is a priority here; all the members of the front desk & housekeeping staff were helpful, friendly, & professional. Good Pts: Great rates (it is extremely rare to get an ocean front view for under $100); Comfortable beds; Well maintained property (fresh paint, new furniture, carpet, drapes, nice landscaping) with lots of amenities: Free micro-fridge, free local calls, armoire w/lots of hangers, 26? TV, coffee maker, bathroom fan that worked, massaging showerhead, 2-ply bathroom tissue, & a quiet a/c; Very clean rooms; Good free breakfast (although we had to walk across the street to the Best Western [same owner], we both enjoyed the variety of food & a large enough eating area to enjoy it); Free computers w/printer for guests (also in the Best Western lobby); Laundry room ($1.50 each); Great location (right across the street from the Cocoa Beach Pier; a Publix grocery store is across the A1A on the opposite side & the Merritt Square Mall is a 15 min. drive from the motel). They also have a nice pool with sitting area & an exercise room, but we did not use either. The only bad point I could find was the broken ice machine in the second building; you had to walk across Meade Ave. to get ice (but this was no big deal). In conclusion, we would certainly recommend this motel to anyone wanting to stay at a quality motel at a very reasonable price.

Their "two queen beds" are actually two double beds. Big difference. Nice to have the mini fridge and microwave and the proximity to the beach (about a block away) is good. But the hotel is older and rooms are small, hence the lower price. Second floor rooms, with balconies, may be nicer than the ground floor room we had. The beds were comfortable although small.

It is in walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and best of all... the beach! Friendly staff, clean and good sized rooms, great price.

Close to the beach, little pricey for a basic room but overall worth it for the location.

The hotel is in a perfect location, close to the pier and shopping. Motel is within walking distance to several very nice resturants and also within one block of the ocean. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, the cleaning service was very efficient. Rooms were quiet, very seldom heard any noise from other rooms. Motel staff was very friendly. I would stay here again if given the opportunity.

Stayed at this hotel while covering the STS 125 shuttle launch in may, 2009, just a short half hour drive to the Kennedy Space Center. Very nice hotel with super friendly staff. Got a great deal on Orbitz, too. A short walk to the beach, stayed in a room with balcony overlooking the ocean. The hotel was packed each night but did not hear any noise. The continental breakfast at the Best Western across the street was very nice, and the Publix supermarket across the other street was handy. Great deli and salads to go. Would recommend this place to everyone.

To define beach front with out walking 2 to 3 blocks. Did not define hotel was 2 to3 blocks from the beach. Not impressed! I have lived in Florida for 30 years and this was not an ocean view hotel.

It was just a place to sleep, nothing special. The "pier" was overated.

The Days Inn in Cocoa Beach was more than adequate, but not spectacular. It was a good value in price. The vanity area was separate from the bathroom and the water pressure and shower spray were good and strong. There was a long, sturdy bench-like suitcase stand that could hold two or more suitcases that looked like a piece of furniture. Because we stayed 8 days they upgraded us at no extra cost to a beach view room with a balcony. The room was good sized and the view of the ocean was spectacular from the balcony. You can practically jump off the balcony and land at the Cocoa Beach Pier which has a wonderful restaurant that serves an incredible Sunday brunch. Friday and Saturday evenings we'd hear live music coming from the pier, not too loud, a nice extra. Right next door is an omlette place serving breakfast and lunch...and a steak place serving lunch and dinner.

A few yards from the beach and a number of restaurants on the Peir. The fans in the lobby were filthy, and they did not have a non-smoking room; nasty smell. Great location, less than appealing atmosphere.

Clean room, soft towels. Great location near the pier, we went every night to relax and have dinner at the restaurant. Staff very helpfull with directions to different places. Close to lots of amenities and KSC. We will be back.

The location was perfect. It was only a short walk to the beach however the hotel needs to be updated and cleaned thoroughly. The rug was filthy, I walked with my white socks and when I looked at them they were black. The rug felt sticky....yuck! The bed sheets felt clean. I couldn't wait to check-out the next morning. We check-out really early. Two days after I stayed here, I got sick. I think the room wasn't cleaned very well.

The shower curtain was clean/new towels plentiful appliances worked. Sink coaster had soap scum and hair under it. Furnace/air blew on you continuously while watching TV in the only place to put chairs. The people running the hotel were nice, brought towels when we needed them. The cleaning upon getting into the room was poor. The sink counter had not been cleaned previously to our coming. The rug had my socks black. Needed shampooed badly. I guess you sometimes get what you pay for. It was close to everything and the beach was a block away. I probably wont stay there again.

We visited Cocoa Beach to witness a space shuttle launch. We were reluctant to book the hotel because the price was so cheap. Boy, were we wrong! First we were greated by a very helpful and courteous staff member. When we entered our second story room, we were greeted with a large clean room. The room smelled clean and was obviously well taken care of. The bathrooms were clean along with all the bedding. The beds were comfortable and all the amenities were in good working order. We sat on our balcony for a short time before walking 1 block to the beach and city pier. The swimming pool was warm and clean. We would stay here any time and recommend it to anyone. We had a disappointing meal at the Durango Steak house, but it was no reflection on the hotel. Stanley at the front desk was very helpful and friendly.

The room was large and spacious. It had a full refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishes. Did not expect that. The only thing was it had an odor to it. We went out for a couple of hours and when we came back there were ants everywhere. I assume the smell we had smelt was maybe an insecticide.

Familiar Name, Price, Location to Beach and amenities in area. Moldy smell in room. We felt very comfortable and safe. The staff was very friendly. We visit Cocoa Beach often. Other family members have stayed at this hotel as well in past. Have no problem going back to this hotel. For the price, it met our expectations.

Good location. No complaints. It was a nice hotel for our first night in Florida. The location was perfect for where we needed to be for the next leg of our trip.

Nice place for the price. Great location with a lot of good places to eat nearby. Right in front of the Cocoa beach pier.
