Hotel room was not kept up to good standards. Some dirt on bathroom floor, cracked, peeling, and discolored door and bathroom molding, empty and not filled Kleenex box, and uneven door jam, door lock difficult to lock.

Came for college preview. Hotel is a dump - a box with a toilet. It does not look anything like the photos, white washed walls cover plaster holes and cracks in walls. Door does not close properly, allowing cold air in. Bath shower rod falling off the wall, and floors filthy. We are disappointed that the Days Inn would allow their reputation be so abused! Don't Stay here. The Heritage INN across the street looks 10 times better and cost less. We are going over there.

The Days Inn at Chico was the only hotel that I have stayed in that I felt very uncomfortable. The outside of the hotel has been refurbished, which is deceiving. The clerk took an extended amount of time checking me in. I had to get his assistance with opening the door to my room because the lock was not working properly. When I opened the door, my first reaction was to leave. The mattress and the furniture, as well as the bed linens, were obviously several years old. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The linens were old, tattered, and matted. The tile in the bathroom appeared to have been recently replaced, but the workmanship was poor. The room was very small and smelled like smoke. I opened the window to air out the room. The air conditioner did not work properly, so I used the fan only. I refused to spend any time in the room except to sleep because it was so uncomfortable.

The staff was awful from the time we checked in. The rooms we old and very dirty. So unkempt that as I was using the toilet the heavy duty lid fell off and broke inches away from my toes. They called on our home machine to tell us that we damaged their toilet. When I told them that they should be glad that I wasn't hurt they told me that I wasn't and I should pay to replace the lid. If you choose to stay. Don't expect anything.

"This place is a dump, parking spaces too small, uncomfortable beds, poor workmanship on repairs, horrible road noise, ""breakfast"" is sweet rolls and muffins, total rip off and will never stay here again. Staff is horrible, house keeping slams doors and stomps around, if you want to sleep in this is not the place."

Chico Days Inn is very close to downtown Chico which was great for our stay. The room was small, but comfortable, and the bathroom was pretty spacious. Their continental breakfast was only Danishes and Muffins, but there was a fridge and microwave so you could bring your own food.

The rooms are good for the price and the location is excellent for proximity to downtown and the college. I have stayed here many times and would stay again

The air conditioner worked very well. The shower looked like it was just redone, and had a nice showerhead. The toilet did not flush so well though and the beds were a little hard. The location was right downtown and great!

The Days Inn Chico's location was pretty good, close to downtown. However, the bed was very uncomfortable and worn, as were the pillows. Worse, every time someone flushed the toilet in another room, our toilet's water ran very loudly, to the point that it would wake us in the night. In general, not a very quiet location.

The staff was very friendly and my room was very clean. Continental breakfast was disappointing, muffins and coffee. No juice or cereal for my son.
