We enjoyed staying at the Days Inn; close walking distance to restaurants and DePaul University (DePaul was about 15 minutes away). Friendly, helpful staff. Relaxing, comfortable rooms. Would stay there again.

Great location -- nice hotel. Easy walk to Wrigley Field with many restaurants/pubs within walking distance. Rooms were not opulent but were clean and comfortable. Great continental breakfast w/ free Belgian Waffles. Good value for such a great location.

Proximity to sporting events. Low flow shower. Good hotel, especially for going to Cubs games. For the price, was good.

I liked the hotel for what it was. Its location and service was great. I loved the bed, it was very comfortable. The hallways are tiny and the bathroom was pretty awful. It was tiny and the shower was either scalding hot or cold with low pressure. I would stay there again though.

Good spot if you are in town for a Cubs game if you don't mind the pleasant half hour walk to Wrigley. Safe area with many international food choices and relatively close to public transportation and Lincoln Park Zoo. Friendly staff. Clean. Small bathroom. Small breakfast area.

The location was perfect; we were in the heart of the city. No free parking or swimming pool. Clean and warm, comfortable with firm beds; rooms are small. I appreciated the fact that I had free access to the Bally gym around the corner.

Located just North of Lincoln Park, this Days Inn was a great bargain for a recent trip to Chicago. The rooms were clean and spacious, the staff was wonderful, and the location was fantastic for easy access to public transportation. I don't understand why this is only a 2 Star property, because it's a great place to stay. The front desk staff was very helpful in suggesting places to eat and drink. On the day of check out, they held our bags for an additonal 5 hours while we saw more of the city before a late flight. I would recommend this hotel to just about everyone. Well, maybe not honeymooners, but just about everyone else. It's not a "romantic" hotel.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was only about a mile's walk to Wrigley Field, and access to public transportation was quick and easy. The staff was more than happy to help us out with directions around Chicago; they keep a stack of maps at the front desk, and they will highlight the route to the place you are asking about. They even helped us learn how to use the bus route system, and suggested an excellent restaurant for us to try Chicago-style deep dish pizza! The room was very nice (complete with flat-screen TV), and the bed was comfortable. I suppose our only complaint with the hotel was with the shower; the water temperature would vary wildly between hot and cold without even touching the handles. However, this is not enough to deter us from another stay at this hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit this fantastic city!

The staff was extremely friendly. The room was very noisy and the shower was terrible. The location is very good and the hotel is fine for a short stay. The price was fair.

I stayed at the Days Inn Lincoln Park and found the trip incredibly pleasant. The bed was high-quality and comfortable, with soft sheets, and ample comfortable pillows. A lot of hotel sheets make me itchy, but not these! They also provide free wireless in the rooms and even had computers available for use in the lobby. The staff was nice and helpful and they gave me a toothbrush and deodorant at the front desk when I realized I forgot mine. The continental breakfast was okay and included fresh-squeezed juices. Everything was very nice and I had no problems!

We were on a one day trip and wanted something inexpensive and clean. This is just what we found at the hotel. It was close to some great restaurants, close to public transport so we did not have to drive everywhere. The staff with whom we interacted, were helpful and friendly. The rooms are a little small and the corridors were a little noisy sometimes. But since we only went back for the night, it didn't matter much.

The location was good andlots of places within walking distance. The elevator broke and there was no one tofix for awhile we were there. Clean, located in a good place central to shopping and restaurants in Lincoln Park. Valet parking cheaper than regular parking at Michigan Avenue hotels. Would stay there again if I had business in Lincoln Park. Nice continental free breakfast.

Surprisingly pleasant stay at this Days Inn. Terrific breakfast - very complete + a nice dining area with many tables. Room small but very clean; comfortable bed; good TV. Overall, much more/better than expected. Only downside is that it's far from downtown area where my meeting took place. Quickly learned to take the CTA Brown Line; a great bargain for $2 as opposed to a cab. It's a hefty 3.5 block walk from hotel to the train, but arrived at Sears Tower area in total of 20 minutes at morning rush.

Great location near Lincoln Park and public transportation. Great staff, clean, secure and value. Neighborhood had character. I'll come back. Small room, especially the bathroom. No view on interior facing rooms. This was my first trip to Chicago, so didn't want to be in a fancy hotel or in the typical high rent Financial District. I was just looking for a safe neighborhood with character, accessible via public transportation, with a mix of commercial and residential streets, young working class people, nearby places to eat, shop, hang out, etc. to give me a sense of the city. The Days Inn delivered. Exactly what I was looking for, and Lincoln Park - just a few minutes walk to the east - is fantastic. The hotel was obviously older and smaller, but very clean and secure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely come again because I rode a bike for almost 40 miles from Wrigley Field to south of downtown and everywhere in between, and this hotel was in one of my favorite neighborhoods

The hotel was very nice and the staff was really helpful especially with directions for getting around in Chicago. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was the noise from the streets. It was really loud from the cars and buses until pretty late. We were on the 2nd floor with a busy street right outside. Earplugs would have been a big help or maybe an upper level room. Otherwise our stay was excellent.

Situated in Lincoln Park, you are near shopping, restaurants, museums, and the metra line. Days Inn Lincoln Park gives you access to Bally's Fitness next door which is great!

The complimentary breakfast was good. The fire hazard. If the hotel had caught fire, we would have died. Our one window was to a rooftop that was completely surrounded by 3 floors of hotel. No way out. Only the door we came in. That was a long way to the elevator and stairwell. There were no fire sprinklers.
