I travel a lot and use this site frequently. This is my only second bad review of a hotel in the last 2 yrs. Most of the time I'm in a rush and don't have time to read all the reviews I just look and the best deal and go with that. If people take time to write a review there's good reason. So take note. This hotel room was very spacious I give it that! But take into consideration that it is right next to a 4 way signal and the onramp to the 101, very noisy. lots of motorcycles up there. No offense! Perhaps it was do to the 3 day MLK weekend? The water was luke warm when I took a shower and the carpet was very worn and the room had a funky smell. Like Fabreeze and Toe jams. Yeah I kept my socks on! Spend a few extra $$'s and stay at a nicer place for quieter and cleaner nights sleep. The hotel clerk could be a little bit more nicer, but perhaps that's his demeanor, you would think in times like these it would be nice to see at least a cheesy grin for your business, or is that asking too much?? Hmm.

Pretty much everything was adequate with the room, location, etc. The main problem was that the staff starting with a phone call to the hotel a couple of days prior to our trip and in person were rude, discourteous and did nothing to make a traveller feel welcome. These people need to work on their people skills if they expect return business. We will not return to this hotel when we travel to the Ventura County area.

The Days Inn at Camarillo was a disappointment to me and my wife. It could have been just the room we were assigned, but the room was in need of a good paint job. Whoever painted it last painted up on to the piping and fixtures. The tile in the bathroom had the grout coming out and they used silicon liberally in a broad swath around the tub and doorway in the bathroom. There was a small hole in the wall next to the bed. Whoever painted the trim left it where it did not cover properly. We would rate it a 1.5.

I was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave, small refrigerator, iron and ironing board, and 5 pillows! Through the bathroom window, I could hear some noise from the nearby restaurant (not theirs). Overall, the Days Inn motel was a pleasant experience. I got more than I expected for the price - microwave, small refrig, iron and board. It was nicely decorated, and I especially like having 5 plumb pillows on the bed. Plus, the Camarillo outlets are right across the freeway. The hotel was moderately priced, but I spent a bundle at the shops! I will return to the motel (and the shops) whenever I'm down that way again.

My fiancee and I were put up at Days Inn Camarillo by some friends of ours who live locally. Our stay was for a total of 8 days, spending over $*** with the hotel. We found the rooms to be clean and tidy, although the towels were of a low quality and did not smell clean. Overall the stay was pleasant and the locality to the freeway and shopping center made things convenient for us. It is unfortunate, however, that one major aspect of our stay soured it for us, ensuring we will never return to this particular Days Inn. Additionally it is unfortunate that we felt compelled to share our experience with our local friends, who in turn will steer their out-of-town friends and family elsewhere. The management of this Days Inn were highly uncooperative and rude. When we decided to extend our stay, the lady at the front desk acted in a way that suggested we had interrupted whatever else she was doing at the time. The worst of it though, came at check-out time. As we had settled in for over a week, there was quite alot of our stuff to repack. We called ahead to request extra time to clear the room. The male desk clerk was very rude and demanded that we must leave immediately. We politely told him we were running a little behind but again, he gave no grace whatsoever. 5 minutes later, this gentleman, the Asst. manager) banged on the door, and yelled at us to "Please Leave! Get out now!" He was relentless, very rude and would not stop until we were out of the room. We ended up tossing all our remaining unpacked belongings into the car and repacked at the gas station next door.

It's one of the less expensive hotels in the area so you can't expect a whole lot. The bathroom needs updating and the water pressure and temp was uneven. The room was a good size the bed was confortable. It was nice having Marie Callendars next store. Located close to the outlets.

Microwave, refrigerator and free continental breakfast. NA. For a one-star hotel, the Days Inn blew me away. The rooms were large, comfortable and clean. They also had microwaves and refrigerators. The hotel served a continental breakfast everyday from 6-9 am that looked delicious (though I didn't have the opportunity to try it).

This was a very good hotel for me and my family. We went out there for a family vacation and had a great time. It is in a very nnice, pretty area. It was hard to leave because it felt like home at the end of the stay. If I ever go bavck I'd tottaly stay there again! This is very reasonable for the price too. I loved it!

It was a convenient stop on the way so we were not looking for great accomodations. The location and ease of finding the motel was fine. Ok food choices in the area. Bathroom had lots of mold.

Location. Service. The front desk was very rude during check in and the room seemed run down and old.

I would NEVER recommend this motel to anyone! During my stay I spent most of my time killing little black flies. The front desk sent someone over to spray the room which didn't help one bit! Luckily we weren't in the the room much, but who in their right mind puts paying customers that are staying 3 nights right next to the laundry room?!! I never write reviews, but I just wanted to warn people before staying. This has been my worst experience ever!

Safe, convenient location, clean area. Front desk person does not sound accommodating.

The cleanliness of the rooms and the maid service at Days Inn Camarillo is below standard. Bathroom floor and shower floor weren,t cleaned properly. Called everyday to get towels for the four. Spoke to the manager he said come to the office it is close to my room. I said I would prefer they leave the correct amount which never happened. I only chose hotel because nothing else available I will never stay or recommend this hotel.

This hotel was fine for what I needed. It was just a short overnite stay. It was close to the meeting I had to attend in Camarillo. Rooms were comfortable, restaurants nearby. Iwould stay there again.

Close to where I am visiting. Staff not friendly, rooms not exciting as other Days Inn. Nice location but service wasn't that good. In comparison to other days inn this is not close to be nice.

The staff was very helpful, especially after we checked out. My daughter realized she had brought a school note book into the room and forgot it. When we realized this we called the hotel, and they immediately checked the room, found it, and held it at the desk until we could pick it up. Even later, my wife discovered she was missing a pair of shoes, which the staff tracked down, laundered (tennis shoes) and are holding it at the front desk for us.
