Friendly front desk staff and housekeeping. Breakfast lady should look for a different job, no smiles. Had a strong odor from the pool and we didn't have a poolside room. Friendly front desk staff and friendly housekeeping staff.

We were only in town for one night and didn't want to spend a fortune for a room... thought we'd save 40 bucks and stay here instead of the Holiday Inn. Well, the staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel was not in great shape. At least the sheets seemed clean and fresh, and the bed was comfortable. Towels clean but very worn. Hubby refused to use the shower, and the bathroom floor was not clean. There was ZERO counter space in the bathroom, and I don't understand why - our room was a handicap-accessible room, and there was plenty of space for some type of counter. Just one flimsy shelf that was already cluttered with their soap, plastic cups, etc. The sink was falling off the wall. Anyway, if all you want is a comfortable place to sleep, it was OK for the money. The breakfast looked pretty good, although we didn't eat there. And free coffee 24/7, which is an important feature for me :)

We went on vacation and stopped at Brookings for the night. My daughter got sick in the middle of the night. We went down to the front desk to get more towels to clean up. We also asked if we could stay a little longer until she felt she could travel. The staff was WONDERFUL from getting us more towels to stopping to check on our daughter. We will definetly stay here again if we are in the area.. THANKS SO MUCH DAYS INN!

It was quiet and comfortable for the short stay. It was easy to find being we weren't from that area.

We had reservations for 2 nights, but left after the 1st. We went to 3 rooms before finding a semi-acceptable one. Rooms were filthy, cold and smelled. Staff wasn't willing to make any accomodations for experience. Stay anywhere but here!

Location and welcome by staff. No wireless in rooms and beds as hard as a rock. Clean hotel at a value-price. Lack of wireless internet access in room and uncomfortable bed lowered my rating of this hotel from a business traveler perspective.

This hotel is dirty and the staff are rude. Don't stay here, this is one of the worst hotels in Brookings.

I enjoyed the heated pool and the slides kept my daughter occupied and having fun. The customer service was lacking on thursday evening, comedy night in the pub. The room and pool fulfilled my expectations but the overall customer service was not up to par. It was a very busy weekend for the hotel and it is possible that the employees were a bit overwhelmed by the number of guests along with the usual events happening in the pub.

Worst stay and discourteous staff at a hotel I have ever had in my life!!! Restaurant staff was very unfriendly as well as a majority of the staff. The pool was very dirty and the miniature golf course was not maintained at all and then they turn around and charge 3.00 a person if you want to golf!!!!! I will not ever give this facility any future business!! Ceiling also looks like it is going to fall down at any time.

This hotel looked and smelled very run down. We had booked 2 nights and left after 1 because the room smelled so musty and damp. My in-laws had a room near ours and theirs too smelled damp and musty. The pool area also appeared to need work.

Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Hot tub had way to much chemical, hotel security was very rude and not where he was needed, several cars in parking lot had air let out of tires.

I didn't have a top sheet on my bed and the bottom sheet on the other bed was too small.

Continental breakfast, computer access. The room was not very clean and it had a musty smell. We had a non smoking room and it smelled like cigarettes. I had to get an air freshener. The hotel was okay but it had a smell to it and it was old. It could use updated carpet and a good paint job. The staff was nice and the continental breakfast was good. I liked being able to use the business office with computer access.

Location right off interstate. Restaurant wasn't open on Sunday after 2pm. Smelled funny throughout hotel, their restaurant and lounge were closed after 2pm on Sunday. Everything else was great.
