Room basically looked worn down. Had very visible "non professional" repairs, such as, running paint on the bathroom door and discolored areas around the floor molding. Had 2 different microwaves in the room, one didn't work. I think someone just left the broken one in the room. Also, the room alarm was previously set for 4 am so I got an unfortunate 4 am wake up call! I will say the room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I asked the front dest clerk if they had some fruit for breakfast, and she said, "Yes, there is some fruit in the Rasin Bran".

Great location and friendly staff. I could not acees the WiFi; may have been my laptop. It was a nice hotel except for my inability to connect to the internet. Great selection of HBO channels.

The hotel was adequate for our one night stay. We rented 2 rooms. They were supposed to be non- smoking but one of them clearly smelled like cig. smoke and had a burn hole in the blanket. The other room smelled like ????... One bathroom was fairly clean, although there was hair in the bath tub. The other bath room was not as clean as the first, there was trash and hair and dust behind the door, and hair in the tub, also some soap scum around sink. The sheets looked clean and changed as well as the towells and they did smell clean. I saw no bugs. The hotel is within 50 yards of a very active comuter/stock train. So try to stay on the left side of the building. Continental breakfast was whatever..there was cereal in a big plastic cady, coffee, tea, juice, doughnuts, plain bagels, jelly and cream cheese,no fruit. It was fair. The atmosphere was pleasant, in a small room, about 6 tables, and a tv. but, There wasn't anyone filling the coffee , milk ,or doughnuts. The tables were dirty from the people before, no big deal to wipe it yourself, but still. I had to ask for everything. There wasn't anyone paying attention to what was being used. And I threw away 2 bagels that had mold on them, and had to ask for fresh ones. They lady who worked the night we checked in was very nice, but the man who worked the front desk in the morning wasnt too pleasant. We were on a tight budget and in the need of an inexpensive place to stay for one night. It was all fine and dandy for that but I wouldn't want to spend any time here.

This hotel is about 5 miles from downtown Columbia on Two Notch Rd. - w proximity to interstates. Staff was great- friendly and accomodating - including Sandi - Mgr. and a young man at the desk (last name Moon -hot breakfast is included. including waffles. Rooms basic - but clean, quiet and comfortable - ( I was on 2nd floor) Close to Ft. Jackson also .

The bed was not comfortable at all, bathrooms need some work the price was ok but needs to be cheaper they did not even clean our room, just gave us clean towels..no coffee nothing the only reason i would stay there again, is it is very close to my families residence, i just need a clean room

Liked the price and location. The phone did not work and had one towel. The room was ok. The a/c unit kept cutting on and off and making a weird noise. There was only one towel in the bathroom. When I went to the phone to call the front desk the phone was broken. When I called the front desk from my cell phone and told them about the phone not working and that I needed another towel the lady said she would bring one. An hour later I called back and the same lady said she could not find any but would bring open as soon as possible. Thirty minutes later I called the front desk with my cell phone again this time a different lady answered and said that the first lady went home for the night. So then I went down to the front desk to get my own towel. When I got there the lady could not find any towels. The lady went upstairs to a supply room and brought back two towels that smelt like they had been stored up there for years. I took my towels and went back to my room.

I stayed here in June of 2008 and had a pleasant experience. I was actually needing to go to Fort Jackson, and it was reasonably close to the highway. The staff was friendly and the room was clean, sheets changed daily. Only downfall is it took FOREVER for them to clean the rooms, but in the end it was worth it.

The Days Inn, Blythewood, S.C. was clean, comfortable and check in was a breeze. The area that the hotel is located is very safe and has access to restaurants.

Did not like this hotel at all. I have never stayed at such a poor excuse for a hotel. When you walked across the carpet in white socks, your socks were filthy on the bottom. When you pushed the button on the soda machine for a diet Pepsi, you got a root beer. When the desk clerk was told about it, her reply was, "He does that all of the time. I don't know why he does that". I don't know who "He" is but he sounds lazy. The selection of channels on the television was very small. The remote didn't work right. In general, I will not stay at a Days Inn ever again.

Very affordable. The breakfast could be better. I stayed at this hotel for my husband's graduation from boot camp at Fort Jackson, which was 20 minutes away. There was no traffic to and from the Army base. The location was very easy to get to, and there were many places to eat around the hotel. The amenities, like the fridge and microwave, were nice. The extended cable for the TV kept me occupied until I was able to see my husband. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Nothing! Bad location, unfriendly staff, not clean, cig butts on floor, dirty towels hanging up, dirty sheets, it was not clean. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Second night clerk worked with us. Manager would not come down and talk with us, clerk had to yell @ him over the phone and she made sure we had a place to lay our heads. We asked for our room to be comped, manager offered $10 off. We got clean sheets and towels and cleaned our own room on the first night just so we could sleep that night.

Staff was very nice. The bed and pillows were old and uncomfortable. The mattress was very old and you could feel the springs while sleeping. The pillow cases and sheets were old and didn't look inviting to sleep on. The staff was pleasant.

Convenient to Interstate. Hotel staff / did not answer phone calls at front desk. If you're just planning to stay a night or two, not a bad stay. The hotel staff never answered the calls we made in trying to reach the front desk. Also, the rooms were freshly painted - although not much effort in keeping the paint off the border.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Mattress is in very poor condition room needs upgraded. If the hotel replaces the mattresses and updates the room. I would be willing to stay there. Otherwise, I would not recommend it as a place to stay.

This hotel was very close to fort Jackson. The carpets were dirty. A good cleaning would have helped. It was close to what we needed.

Not clean, smelled of vomit, spots on walls. One room did not lock, and a door key did not work. The other room smelled of vomit and had splatter spots on the wall by the bed. There was a dirty wash cloth behind the fridge. When this was brought to the attention of the front desk, no attempt was made to remedy the situation.

The front desk girl was extremely nice/helpful! The room was not very clean - no internet connection. The internet connection -the front desk girl was a great help. The room was smelly, dirty and not comfortable at all.

It was close to my son's graduation from boot camp. I would not stay again. Could not use the pool when I was told I could. It was your ordinary hotel, I was greatly disappointed because the kids and my wife and also myself could not use the pool. I think I deserve a refund to be honest. Had problems with the card keys everyday I was there.

Easy to locate. Not enough towels in the room. Clean enough to stay in while traveling. Beds where comfortable and room was big. Parking is limited but the hotel is small so walking to your room is easy from any space.
