the service was perfect the rooms were clean and quiet

We were in town for a family reunion, so we spent most of our time visiting with family members. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of our room and the helpfulness of the staff. We had a minor problem with our room key - it kept losing its' memory so it had to be re-programmed every day. We visited 2 other Days Inns on the way to Binghamton - this one was the cheapest and best. The room was a little smaller than the others, but the location was great.

Comfortable beds. Parking close to the door was a problem. There was only 1 handicap parking space. The hotel is located quite a ways off of the interstate. It appeared that carpeting was in the process of being replaced although this did not affect the stay. The front desk personnel did not inform us of the continental breakfast that came with the room.

Would never stay there again! It's not a hotel but a week-end party resort for loud young adults. Noise was all night long. I didn't feel safe there and was worried about damage to my car overnight.

Upon arrival, 11pm, I was assigned to an occupied room-I woke up the people who were already in the room, much to their and my dismay. Next I was assigned an unoccupied room (OK, this was an improvement), however, the room had not been cleaned. I decided at this point, midnight, to leave this establishment, and the hotel cancelled my reservation.

Easy check-in. Clean room. EVerything as per Orbitz. However, did not realize that Orbitz made $17 on us as our receipt was for $17 less than we paid Orbitz. Next time I will call the hotel first before accepting Orbitz room.

Good customer service. Elevator not working and no signs. The room was very small. I wished there had been a desk in the room. I had problems with my room key. Three times I had to have it re-keyed; and I was not close to the front desk; and the elevator did not work 80% of the time I was a guest there.

I had a death in my family and needed to stay over night .Upon my arrival, 3 pm, I was assigned a room when I went to the room it was a mess. I went down to the front desk and they gave me another room when I went into this room the beds were made but nothing else was cleaned. I went back down to the front desk and they gave me another room and the same thing happened. I ask for a fridge in the room they said they would send one up later that night I called to ask about the fridge and was told that the maint. crew had left and she said that she didn't know where to get one. The elevator at the other end of the hotel is broke so you have to walk all the way around and up steps with your bags. THIS PLACE IS A MESS DO NOT STAY HERE.

Attended Lions Club convention. Shuttle bus could have been better. Loud party in hotel on Saturday night just across hall from room continued until 1am.

Not sure. Did not feel at all safe in that area not well lit in Parking. Elevators did not work.

Very poor experience--soiled carpets, unpleasant smells, broken elevator, no wireless in the rooms, staircase without railings on the third floor. A disaster for mobility-impaired, and unpleasant for anyone else.

The Days Inn Binghamton was not a good family experience. The indoor pool was not open for my children to use. It was right across the street from college frat houses. The hallways were extremely loud all night long. There were no restaurants or anything in the immediate area of interest. At 3 o'clock in the morning we were awoken to screams out front of the hotel. There was a fight going on and people were on the ground getting kicked and punched I was just about to call 911 when the fight broke up and a man was left in the middle of the road to be helped up by his friends and put into a car. I an only pray that this boy was ok. It was a very scary ordeal for us and my two girls were extremely frightened and wanted to leave immediately. Needless to say we had a horrible night and checked out in the morning, not even staying for our second nights stay.I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Bathroom was terrific, size, amenities, very clean. Air conditioner very noisy and kept me awake. Location was not where I remembered so we had a problem finding it. Bathroom was spotless and pleasure to use. Good bed but noisy air conditioner and the breakfast was adequate. Staff was excellent.

All the rooms are newly renovated, new carpeting, new beds. It was great. Only negative for me was it was a little further from the highway than I anticaped.

The hotel was somewhat run-down. But for the price, it was a good value.

The people were so nice. I forgot my eyeglasses after checking out. Receptionist was very helpful. I think it needs refurbishing. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean.

The hotel was easily located right off the highway. Parking was free in this city hotel and we were not sure it would be. The room was small but clean, comfortable, quiet and modern. Not fancy, but we were on the road and just looking for a good night's rest and this fit the bill perfectly. The towels were thin but it wasn't a luxury hotel so that would be expected. The complimentary breakfast was better than many. We thought it was a great value for the money.

The hotel seemed old and dated. It had a musty smell althought they appeared to be doing some renovating. Breakfast buffet was marginally OK. the only hot items were coffee and waffles. The neighborhood was also rundown. There were restaurants or decent grocery stores nearby.
Date of Stay:
September, 2007
It was clean. The location. This hotel was clean and comfortable and met our expectations given the price point. You have to go through a pretty rough part of town to get to it which was a bit disconcerting but the hotel itself was safe.
