Very nice staff, but would not move us into a room with 2 beds, rather than one because we booked on cheaptickets.com (which makes me not want to use cheaptickets.com). They did provide cots, but they took up the entire room and we had nowhere to walk and were very cramped. They left the common area kitchen cabinets and refrigerator unlocked and dirty dishes in the sink (which smelled terrible). I was never sure if I was getting clean linens with the extra pillows and extra cot. there were tons of ants on pieces of food that had been dropped on the floor by the front desk. The people at the front desk did not understand what I wanted when I asked for ear plugs and offered me ther own personal earphones for my use instead. The Pay-per-view channel was fuzzy and the front desk had ME call the company to try and fix it (the lady at the company was surprised by this and said she would call the front desk directly - the problem was never fixed). Overall I was very disappointed. It was inexpensive, which I was pleased with, but I guess I got what I paid for and will be unlikely to stay there again. The Best Western down the street is much cleaner, nicer, larger, and more accomodating. The one special thing about this Days Inn is that it allows pets.

overall a very nice hotel for the price per room. We enjoyed the expanded breakfast ie. Waffle maker, yougurt, fresh fruit. The rooms were clean and roomy, weather did not permit use of the pool. The staff was professional and helpful with directions and information on nearby services. will stay again when in the area

I was traveling as a bridesmaid for an evening wedding in Cromwell,CT. The room was not very clean and the stairs in the hotel were brown with dirt (the original color was green).

Friendliness of the staff. Size of the room. Hotel was fine for our needs. Room was on the small size but as we used it as a base to travel from and sleep, it more than served it's purpose. The hotel is locate close to shopping, entertainment and dining. Staff was very helpful.

They got NESN so I could watch Red Sox. Fruit flies everywhere! Back door did not lock so security not good. They leave open trash can inside the hotel back steps so fruit flies multiply like. Fruit flies plagued me in my room. Falling asleep wondering how many would fly into my mouth while I slept.

This hotel was very clean and organized, they had the best breakfast I've seen. I would recommend this place to anyone, staying here made our weekend run very smoothly. They also had a waffle iron for breakfast - which I thought was a very nice touch.

Restaurant next door is excellent. Noisy refrigerator. Good experience. Original room was on 1st floor with parking facing large window. We asked to be moved so as not to be disturbed by comings and goings of others and were accommodated without hustle.

This is our second stay at the Hawthorne Hill. Always pleased with our room and the staff. The lobby breakfast is always fresh. Free internet too. Staff helped us with directions to area attractions. A definite must is eating at the Hawthorne Inn Restaurant right next door----best prime rib ever!!! Highly recommend making reservations. They have entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. Prices for food are high but the food is great......well worth the extra money.

Free breakfast was good. The overall condition of the hotel was run down. This hotel needs a major overhaul. The beds were comfortable, the walls were thin and conversations could be heard in adjoining rooms.

Dated, inadequate and unprofessional. I would not stay here again as i felt like i was back in time... i changed rooms 3 times and each room looked older than the last like the twilight zone.. it was really wierd and I felt like i was in some secluded area far from civilazation.. i checked out early

"My family and I chose to stay at the Hawthorne when a friend reccomended it. Our children absolutely LOVED Max, the St. Bernard who is the hotel mascot it seems. The staff was kind and accomadating, and very personable. The rooms were very nice as well, we had a room overlooking the outdoor pool."

The homemade waffles in the free continental breakfast. My son developed a stiff neck after sleeping in the hotel. Easy, comfortable, quiet and good free breakfast

"I was very impressed. The bathroom was squeaky clean, even in the corners. Front desk staff was great. The room reminded me of a Marriott. My girlfriend and I had the summer get-away package and it was a great deal. Beautiful restaurant."
