Easy to find, check in was good and free breakfast was a nice surprise. However, upon entering the room we initially were very pleased with the conditions until we entered the bathroom and used the toilet. It appeared that someone had used it and had not been cleaned. There was fecal matter dried on the side, urine spots on the rim and pubic hair along the back side. The management was very alarmed and said they would look into it. Might be just a random incident.

Nothing. The water quality. Could not take a shower or bath. The water was dirty. Had to take a sponge bath in the sink. It was one of the worst hotels I've stayed in.

While this hotel is excellently located, the plumbing didn't work. We went to the front desk and were given a plunger! The sink did not drain, and the toilet didn't flush.

We stayed for a total of 5 prepaid nights of " good buy." I'm not sure I'll do the prepaid again. The first night we called the desk at 12:30 am because the people directly above us were having a loud party and it sounded like they were dropping bowling balls. Management apoligized but took care of the problem. The second night it was 11:30 pm and I again had to call the front desk. They were vaccuuming the room above us and it sounded like they were in our room. I was told that the previous guests had left such a mess and they needed to clean it up and they would be done shortly. About an hour later they were finally done. The third night no one was above us and we slept well. The next two nights we had guests making lots of noise again. The rooms were not very sound proof. The first day we had to have the dryer replaced because it didn't work. The heater took forever to come on and when it did it didn't stay warm very long but eventually blew out cold air. The last night there I called the automated system for airline flight status and found out that the phone didn't work. I used my cell phone so OK. The breakfast was ok and they had a computer so I could check home email which was nice. When I wanted to check in and print my boarding passes I was told that the printer didn't have ink because it was too expensive. The staff needed some personality except for one gal who went above and beyond with her helpfulness. Unfortunately we only saw her during three of her shifts.

we were there for a week, prepaid and only ask twice why there was no hot water. Not very clean, drapes were terrible and they blamed my girlfriend and I. We did get Visa to refund us the charges they applied. The letter I received had the identical hand writing on the letter as did the wall that in the room and they said we did this writing! Why would a grandma who came to see her grandkids do this, we were not even in the room that much.

We were looking for a convenient and inexpensive place to stay while visiting NW washington state and this fit the bill exactly.

The location was excellent. The bed was pretty hard and the carpet wasn't vacuumed very well. For what we needed-a place to just sleep, it was adequate and I would stay again. The proximity to WWU, the freeway and restaurants was great.

The Days Inn was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for one person. I used the little table for my laptop. Bathroom was clean but a little small. My room was equipped with ironing board and iron, hair dryer, microwave and little refrigerator. After a long day searching for houses in the Bellingham area, it was a nice place to come back too. I picked up salad and other food items at the local Hannegans and could relax with a meal in the motel room. Mostly fast food places nearby but close to downtown and so it was easy to find a good meal. Starbucks and other coffe places within walking distance.

The location was convenient. Hotel was very noisy. This hotel was bearable, but that was about it. There was no elevator, the front desk staff did their jobs but appeared to be going through the motions and wanted to quickly get onto the next customer checking it. This hotel is incredibly noisy. You can hear the person next door having a normal conversation and when someone passes by your hotel room door the whole floor shakes. The carpets in the main areas were quite dirty. The bathroom was in need of renovation. I dropped a hair tie on the floor and went to retrieve it and found garbage under the bed so it appears the maids don't do a thorough room check when someone checks out. The windows are single pane and poorly insulted and we got all the noise from the parking lot, which our room faced. I would not go back to this hotel.

"The Days Inn in Bellingham was a great place to stay for many reasons. First is it's location. It is close to pharmacies, supermarkerts and many good restaurants, most within walking distance. It is also very close to Western Washington University making it ideal for both parents and students. The staff were also very helpful. They were attentive to the individual needs of each guest and made the appropriate accomodations. "
