This hotel is in a good location for hiking trails on the Blueridge Parkway, D-day Memorial and local parks. It's economic and has a friendly staff.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were shabby, had dirt around baseboards, the air conditioner didn't work in the first room I was in and the ceiling leaked in the second room. I would probably not stay at this hotel again. The only positive thing was the location and the front staff and breakfast. The rooms were not overly clean, the bed spreads in my first room was frayed and torn and the curtain had holes. The second room had roof leaks but the bed spreads were newer but did not match. The floor lamps in both rooms acted as if they had to much to drink. Maybe they need someone to care about this establishment.

The location was perfect and everything appeared clean; however, it smelled like dog pee. There were many small black ants in the bathroom so what we smelled could have been something they sprayed but it was very foul smelling and it knocked your head off as soon as you walked in the room.

We liked the continental breakfast include with our stay. The room was smaller than the pictures shown on the website. The room was fairly comfortable for my family and I, though it was not refurbished as advertised. It was a bit cramped for four people, but we did enjoy the view and the breakfast.

Quenn size bed room smaller than double full room. 2nd room smelled like mildew and no lignts worked at nignt. 3rd bedroom tiolet did not refill in a timely matter. Changed rooms three times and wanted to change our room again. They did not accomodate us at all with any alternatives.

Hotel Check was good. One room I got that was not clean so I got another room. Air conditioner in the room was making lot of noise. Bathroom door lock was not working. Bed was good, liked the facilities like refrigerator, microwave etc. Overall I would rate it as 3/5. It needs improvement.

The breakfast included our favorite waffles. The interior of the room was showing age, but still acceptable. We have visited this hotel many times, and would go again. It is our preferred choice over the super 8 across the street because of the value and room size.

Well the people all seemed nice but the room# 35 ceiling had been leaking and some of the interior ceiling tiles looked like they were ready to fall down. X's own this motel and it was a tipical Indian motel. But hey for aarp rates what did I expect? would I stay there again? maybe but in a different room

This wasn't the nicest place I have ever stayed, but for the location and for the price, it was OK The bed was reasonably comfortable, the AC worked well, the bathroom was clean and the towels about what I would expect for the price. Overall, it was what I would have expected for the price.

View of the mountains, cleanliness of room. n/a I was pleasantly surprised. My room was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant right next door, beautiful view across the street of the mountains, it was very nice. I will be staying at this same location in the near future again because I thought it was a great place to stay.

Motels in the Bedford area are limited. The Days Inn is in need of a complete renovation. The carpet was old, bedding was patched, the mattress was old and uncomfortable .You could actually feel the springs as you lay on it. Towels were small and thin. The bathtub was mounted above the floor and somewhat unstable. The positive points, a very friendly staff, free local telephone service, and breakfast. Please note: I booked three rooms for my party and all were in the same condition.

The room was adequate. The hotel needs a lot of updates/maintenance. (I.e. wallpaper peeling off the walls, furniture chosen for the room didn't reall fit the size of the room. etc. Does not have the look and feel I would think would meet the high standards of a major chain motel.

Rooms need to be renovated and cleaned better. Alot of dust was on top of shelve for clothes. Personel were very friendly.

"Very disappointed in condition of non-smoking room. The room was depressing with dingy carpet, light fixtures not working and apart from wall, electrical plugs not secure, and BR needs updating. There was a mal odorous smell in room. Even a ""silver fish"" bug fell in bath tub. :-( The staff was friendly and helpful, but will not stay there again."
