Date of Stay:

We went to a winery dinner and show at SpringHill Winery. Great time and close to hotel
Date of Stay:

The price was ok. The facilities were very old and very dirty. There were also people living at the hotel. There were very rude town children in the pool! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! It was one of the most unclean and nasty experiences of my life!
Date of Stay:
November, 2008
Upon checking in much to our suprise a train goes right behind the entire hotel, though they said not during the night ,they lied! The hotel is indeed an OLD hotel, The people running this hotel, Though friendly, was unable to commmunicate with you very well. The lighting in the rooms were dim at best and I know why, so they can hide as many horrible things as possible, My sister found a LEMON at the edge of the bed under it. Yes you heard me a LEMON, thats how thorough they clean, needed a shower, wouldn't dare!!!

excellent location, right across the my old ky dinner train, all shops and restuarent are on walking distance, nice and clean rooms looks like recently renovated, friendly staff, good breakfast in the morning, its really worth the money i spend over here. i will definately come back.

Would stay again anytime, very nice arrangement.

Convenient location. Breakfast was very limited and not properly supplied. Decent hotel with clean rooms and very convenient to the center of town (easy 10 min. walk). Breakfast is limited to waffles and cereal.

The Day's Inn in Bardstown, KY. leaves a lot to be desired. This motel is in a very sad state of repair. From the outside it looks okay, but the room I used was terrible. There was no towels or wash cloths so I had to go to the desk to get them myself. The toilet seat had a crack in it that pinched when sat upon. The spout in the tub was missing and there was only the pipe nipple sticking out of the wall. This prevented any water from being diverted to the shower, so, no shower. There was evidence of mildew in the bath and the room was not as clean as I would have liked. A small thing, there was no remote for the tv. I payed $* for one night in this room... it should have been more like $25.00 in my estimation. I have seen a trend of lower quality in Day's Inns over the past several years and will probably not stay in one again.

The inn was clean, we were just there to sleep, all waking hours were for sightseeing so it was o.k. for us.

Its beds were very comfortable. The bath room was way to small. Overall, it was a nice clean place to stay and wasn't all that expensive.

We checked in in the afternoon and went for a swim in the beautiful outdoor pool. We found our room clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helped us find a family friendly place to eat. Mammy's had wonderful food.

Very quiet. Hot tub was not working. I enjoyed the stay at Ramada Inn very much. It is conveniently located to shops and restaurants in downtown. The room was excellent in that new carpet and new paint had been added to the room. The continental breakfast was sufficient, even though the waffle maker quit working while we eating our breakfast. My biggest complaint is the hot tub was dry and not in working condition.

Location. Run down tired property. NA

Front desk staff was pleasant. Housekeeping is not desirable, breakfast was poor. The hotel was alright for the money. The breakfast was not very attractive and the rooms needed an overhaul. Housekeeping does not take pride in their work, but the front desk staff is wonderful. the location is good, short drive to all amenities.
Date of Stay:
August, 2006
Clean, nice shower, breakfast. Not close to exit, need better directions, older hotel but clean. Nice enough, older hotel, not easy access off exit, back in town area and down a street. Quaint area, nice golfing, shops. Super Wal-Mart and Lowes at exit off BG parkway.

The Staff was friendly and helpful. I like Ramada Inns, but this one was a dump. It should not be a Ramada Inn. There was a lot of foreign workers staying there, Mexican, I believe. The people in our party was a little uptight about that. The men just stood around and stared at the women. The ice machine was always empty. The rooms were sub-par for Ramada Inns, kind of dirty. I would not ever stay there again.

Convenient location. Run-down and not very clean. The web site indicated the hotel has a restaurant which it DOES NOT. The bathtub would not drain properly and the door did not close very securely. It was OK for a place to sleep but I could not recommend it if you are going to spend much time in the room itself.

Our stay was wonderful and the staff was real friendly We will return. I thought everything was awesome. We were in Bards town visiting family (son) and we all went swimming in the pool No one said anything to us about guests and everyone was very hometown friendly Our stay was great and we will return, Clean and very accommodating.

The motel room had a refrigerator and microwave. The railroad tracks were next door. This motel was exceptionally clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom had a unique curved shower curtain rod.

Great location and room. Older hotel. It met my expectations
Date of Stay:

Need to clean pool area once in awhile, need to do some maintenance Overal OK, needs some attention or it will change fast. Cleanliness of th pool area needs attention. Cigar and cigarette butts, pool needed to be vacuumed, etc.
