Terrible, Terrible, Terrible. This place is so bad that Days Inn revoked the franchise from them the beginning of this year. This place was unsafe for man or beast. The pool was closed, the door didn't lock, and there were hairs in the bathub. The wireless was broken, the hot breakfast consisted of a donut in a bag on the door knob. Go to the Asheboro Inn across the street for 62 night and get a clean bed, weight room and working pool. We went to Asheboro for the Zoo.

We attempted to stay at this hotel for one evening on the way to Myrtle Beach. When we arrived, we were dissatisfied with the room, but knew there were no other vacancies in the area - we were very tired and desperate. We decided to go to the mall for dinner and shop until it closed, so that the only thing we had to do was go straight to bed when we returned. The room was not very nicely furnished. There was a stale, dirty odor in the room. We opted not to bring our luggage into the room, because we feared what would enter the bags. There was mud under the dresser and chair, and a large bug in the tub. The family in the next room could not enter their room, because the key would not work. When we arrived at the room, we were still very hesitant about staying here. But, the clincher was that when we turned the air conditioner on, it made a very loud noise, that lasted about 10 seconds - this happened about every minute and half. There was no way the family could stay. We requested another room. We got the key to the room - it would not open. When we looked into the room, we saw there were no sheets on the bed. We went to the desk, and requested our money back. There were several people in line in front of us - they complained that they had no sheets, or towels or toilet paper. We decided to leave - a nap at a rest stop was a better option for our family.

Hotel pool was shut down by the County Health Department, and toilet flushed on to the floor from the bottom seal. We left after an hour.

"One of the worst I have stayed disgusting and a nightmare. The bed had dirty sheets and there was a face print on the pillowcase. We had to pull a blanket from the car to sleep on. No towels or soap or toilet paper. Dirty room had cigarette butts and ashes behind the nightstand and dresser. No cups. (Along with the roaches) There were partyers all night long making noise. It was very late and we had pre-paid online. Basically held hostage. Management would not speak w/ us and staff does not care when we complained, however they did recredit me $* after a letter to them + Days Inn."
