Good location - great cajun seafood place a block away. Nice, courteous staff. Rooms clean but need painting, newer carpets. We were right next to the ice machine - fishermen would wake up at 5 am and fill their iceboxes with ice, woke us up every time. Make sure not to get the room we did. A good value for the area.

This hotel was in need of renovation. The house keeping was poor, and we had 3 people in the room and had to request towels every day of our stay. There was a stain on the wall that could have been cleaned off with a good cleaner.

Friendly andattentive staff. Rooms a bit dirty, air conditioning did not work. All in all, an ok hotel. Nothing nice- it's a little old, but it was alright. Free breakfast was good.

The location is an industrial area and it is more than 2 blocks from the beach. The hotel service was with attitude and their 24 hour cancellation policy does not exist--try to invoke it and you will find that if something comes up--you lose. This hotel is way out of its price range asking twice as much as a Days Inn in the S. Padre area and frankly I would suggest the Shereton, same cost but they have service with a smile and just in case something does happen their cancellation policy is kind to the wallet. Days Inn is a dump and that is how their attitude as well.

I liked that it had a bedroom with a door, so the bed was apart from the sitting area. I did not like that the room was dirty. My toddler found many things on the floor to chew on. The ceiling fan had caked on dust- I was too afraid to turn it on. The shower curtain was falling off the wall. The bathroom door would not shut. I was surprised that this hotel is linked with the Days Inn franchise. I will be going back to Port Aransas next month for another vacation- but will have to find somewhere else to stay.

Bagels and cream cheese. Dirty. The room smelled like mildew, the toilet rocked when you sat on it, never finished the paint job, sink drains were clogged.

Overall room was nice. Plumbing lacked. Shower/tub did not drain properly and had to stand in water up to ankles to shower. Sink in bathroom leaked.

It was convenient to where we were interested. It smelled kind of musky. They cut the AC off at the desk upon checkout and the air was stale. Stale air, but clean. Nice staff. Fair for the money.

Continental breakfast. Hole in shower wall & under bath faucet, pool filthy. Staff was friendly, the pool was dirty, and there was a hole in the side panel of shower and a large hole right underneath the bath tub faucet.

Nothing stands out. There was no play area for the kids. Nasty pool. This was a decent hotel. I wasn't overall impressed with it. I expected more for a popular area. The pool was nasty. It wasn't kid friendly at all.

Unfriendly, breakfast was not ready and not clean. Not very friendly and where the food was it was not clean.
