Last night was the last time I will ever in my life be staying with the Ramada. I've always enjoyed the Ramada & it's always been a nice hotel to go to for a get away well kinda. Last night i stayed with my boyfriend, his friend, and my friend. Well apparently something was wrong with the electricity because it shut off. We went down to the service desk to ask if they could fix it and there was a boy about 16 or so working there. The boy told us that he'd give us another room. So we went back packed up, and headed over. In our new room we got settled, and then we realized it was extremely hot. It was about four in the morning so we decided that we'd just go back to the other room because we didn't need power and we were dead tired, and the room was too hot. We didn't tell the boy because he told us we could keep both keys. This morning we were all awoken by banging on the door. It was a foreign man and he said we needed to pay for the room. We said okay, and we went downstairs. They wouldn't even listen to us. They were yelling, saying how they were going to call the cops, and how we stole the room. The man tried to tell us that we cheated them, and it was apparently just like shop lifting. He wouldn't even talk to us in a civil voice or listen to our story. The woman said that we told her there was only two people and she was yelling as well. We never told her how many people was and she didn't ask. The man never once was nice to us and made us pay 20 more bucks for the room. I am very disappointed and not happy with my stay at this hotel.

The hotel staff was superb. That kind of made up for the construction that was taking place. The room was average. But the biggest disappointment was the the filthy carpet in my room. My socks were literally BLACK after walkin around the room, and forget about goin bare foot!

The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.

This hotel was filthy. The room walls were covered with filth and the carpet was dirty. I never took my socks off. There was hair on the bathroom counter. Thankfully I was only there for a brief overnight stay. I will never stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

The room was disgusting. The sheets hadnt been changed we found out after my elderly grandmother pulled sheets back. The card from the last person was still on table. They did change our room but the wasnt nice either. Would NOT stay again!

The room was clean when we first got there; but the next day it looked as if the maid had come in, then left, taking nothing but the pillow covers. Trash was not emptied, bed was not made. But we were given extra pillow covers and towels at the front desk. The staff was friendly, the complimentary breakfast was okay, but for the price we paid was enough. For the money, it was fine for a weekend stay; close to family, restaurants and shopping. We would stay there again.

Both times that we stayed here over Thanksgiving weekend, I was impressed by the staff's friendliness and helpfulness. They were prompt and attentive with everything. We had to take a 2nd floor room (annoying because there is no elevator and we were traveling with a 5-month old). The manager offered to help carry everything up the stairs for us, which was nice. Breakfast was decent; nothing fancy - cold cereals, donuts, coffee, juice, toast, English muffins, etc. They seem to have done renovations recently, but the job wasn't very well done; lots of unfinished painting and other oddities like hot and cold water knobs switched. Overall, if you're looking more for a conveniently located, inexpensive overnight stay, this is a good spot.

The sheets were dirty and when we asked for clean sheets, they, too, were dirty. The only thing good was the coffee! I guess you get what you pay for.
