Date of Stay:
May, 2009
It was an enjoyable experience and would recommend it! We definitely got our monies worth and hope to have the opportunity to stay there in the future.
Date of Stay:
November, 2007
Room was too small for 2 people. The bed was uncomfortable - could not sleep. The ice machine was directly across the hall with people using it until midnight and starting again at 4 AM! When we complained to the desk clerk the next morning she said - Oh yes - that is a bad room. They knew it was a bad room and never told us. We will not stay at this hotel again.
Date of Stay:
April, 2009
Clean and affordable. We enjoyed our stay; the room was small but nicely decorated and just what we needed for the price. Great hot and clean shower. The full wall mirror behind the bed was a bit questionable. The breakfast was simple, the only difficulty was the maze of parking lots to get to the hotel lot.

The first room I got had ants, so I requested another room. The second room I got had stained sheets. Disgusting!!

Free breakfast, fridge and micro in room. We had ants in our room.

Inexpensive. Small, inefficient room - especially the bath. Not bad for a quick overnight stay.

Close to cracker barrel. I found bread crumbs & hair when I turned down the bed. Vending & elevator noise very loud.

Free internet. Free coffee. No swimming pool. A very well planned out room. Window seat was a big hit with my 8 year old. Well lit and comfortable.
Date of Stay:
November, 2008
The bed had 4 fluffy pillows. The bathtub drain stopper did not work. The room was very small not large enough for the small refrigerator and microwave that set right next to the bed.
Date of Stay:
September, 2008
The TV could have been bigger.

The toilet and bathtub drain were broken, the staff was rude andI woke up in the middle of the night with small, black bugs crawling on me. It was the worst hotel experience of my entire life, without question.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Location. Rooms too small, only one bed in the room, would not want to stay there again. The rooms are too small, there was only one queen size bed in the room, I was traveling with a friend so we did not have separate beds. Would not like to stay there again. Star rating should be a one, not two!
Date of Stay:

The shower was clean. The room had a strange odor and the coffee pot brewed coffee that had a greasy film on it (did not drink). Our windows didn't have screens and room had bothersome odor. We wanted two double beds but the double bed rooms were booked even though we requested. So I paid an additional $ for a suite we didn't want (again - wanted two beds and ended up with one and a pull-out).

Clean. Allowed us to stay longer on checkout day. Decent breakfast. Liked window seat. Hard water. Well-lit rooms with comfortable beds and a full range of cable TV channels. Breakfast is acceptable and the room was clean and fresh.

Quick breakfast in the morning is great. Alarm in next room went off loudly before 7:00 am. That room was unoccupied. Staff could not deal with it for about 30 minutes. Not good. Place was clean and had a nice breakfast for families in the morning. Negative: not enough staff to deal with situations during the morning rush. Alarm clock in adjacent room went off loudly for close to 30 minutes. No staff available to rectify the matter since she was busy at the desk.
Date of Stay:
March, 2008
New and clean. Very small rooms! Small bed! Nice and clean, okay for one business traveler. The rooms were very small, almost claustrophobic. Mini-fridge and microwave oven left sitting on the floor because there was no room for them on any counter.

Best pillow I ever encountered in a Hotel. Room was TINY, and extremely overcluttered, Had to walk sideways between the bed/desk/chairs and the walls. The hotel was very hard to find. It was located in the rear of a cluster of hotels, with only a small sign by the road (which pointed in the wrong direction) to guide you to it, the lobby was not marked at all from the outside. I drove around the building twice before I could figure out what door might lead to the lobby to check in. When I got into the room, I was extremely disappointed. The lighting in the room was horrible. There were two lights in the room that functioned, Both extemely bright flourecents. The room was way too small for the single queen size bed, desk and chair. One had to walk sideways throughout the room to squeeze between the bed & the desk, or wall, or small fridge, or ratty rollaway desk chair. Though the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the pillow's the best I have ever experienced, I would not stay there again, or recommend it to anyone. The motel 6 next door had a lower posted rate than the rate I paid and the rooms were just as clean, and much larger and less cluttered.

The rooms all have bench window seats and windows with screens that open wide. The bed was a little hard, but that's to be expected at a mid rate hotel. This is a great, clean, newly built hotel close to I 65 and state road 52. It's about a 20 minute drive to Purdue campus in day time traffic. Queen bed rooms are small, but cozy. The cushioned window seats are a great touch, as are the screened windows that open wide to let in lots of air. I have stayed here more than once and would recommend it to bargain hunters.

Quality. Location. Single rooms very, very small. Lobby comfortable, staff very friendly room comfortable but very wee.
Date of Stay:
September, 2007
Extensive, complimentary continental breakfast. Somewhat inconveniently located; off frontage road with lots of construction nearby. Compared to other days inns, I would say this was nicer than most. The only negative issue is the somewhat inconvenient location. There are numerous hotels located directly on the main route. There a handful of hotels, Days inn included, that must be accessed off a frontage road. There was a lot of road construction going on during our stay and the lanes were reduced, so this effected how long it took to travel to and from the hotel. The actual hotel is well maintained. The bathroom is large and A/C worked well. Rather than just the standard bagels and 2 varieties of cereals and drinks found at other days inn for breakfast, this hotel offered a wide selection. They had a fruit basket with several selections which remained available throughout the day. Breakfast selections included numerous packaged cereals, Danish, donuts, bagels with cream cheese & peanut butter, waffles. And probably other items I'm forgetting now.
