Just used it for sleeping. My room's bathroom tub had a very bad refinishing job, peeling resin/paint, which made the tub look dirty. Also some mildew building up in the grout lines. Not grossly soiled, just visible. I wish they held breakfast a little longer on Sunday. Most people do sleep in given they had a busy weekend. Five after 9 am and they didn't waste anytime putting the food away. They did allow me to check in early which was very helpful and appreciated.

The stay at the Days Inn was terrible. When we arrived the floor in the room was soaking wet, we took a shower and the water went all over the floor even though it had a shower curtin in the tub the tv was out the whole time we were there, the tolet ran unless we flushed it a certain way the sink was slow to drain. We complained to the desk and they could care less. My brother-in-law has a business in Oak Lawn and recomended this place to us. He will never recomend it again to any one. We will never stay at a Days Inn again. Agnes Mitchell

It was conveniently located, close to Chicago. The hotel was very dated, pot holes in the concrete walkway's, doors in public area's were so out of rack you could hardly get them open. The tub was leaking in the room above it and the ceiling was actually falling in. I don't think I would stay there again

The Days In Alsip was clean and neat. The maids were courteous.The only problem was the range of TV channels.

Location. Person in room next door was making noise (domestic disturbance) at 4:30 am. Room was very clean and location was nice. The ice machine was broken and the occupant in the room next to us had a domestic altercation at 4:30 am and there was no security person and it took over an hour for the police to arrive and then they were outside of our door for over an half hour. The most disturbing part was the same woman returning an hour later to again make noise for another half an hour.

I was in Chicago for funeral and stayed here for two nights. I was literally only there for a few hours overnight for a brief sleep. The first room I stayed in had dirty carpet with small holes. The bathroom has a big hole behind the toilet. The heater has a broken fan that made a horrible noise. I changed rooms the second night only to find the large holes in the dirty carpet. The place is run down. Border is falling off the walls. There is no maintenance for upkeep. This place is a dump and Day's Inn should stop them from using their name.

The bus route went right past the hotel. Dirty, nothing worked, no cable, middle of nowhere,old food on floor. This was by far the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The carpet was very badly stained and was wet in places, the bedspread had food crumbs in it, the bathtub was filled with a green gunk and wouldn't drain, half the lights didn't work, and only one of the power outlets worked. At one point, I found what I believed to be rat droppings on the carpet and spent an hour banging around under furniture to chase any rats out. Turns out it wasn't droppings - just a whole box of dark candy that the maid neglected to clean off the floor. I felt like I was getting hepatitis just by being in this room, it was that disgusting. And it was so far from downtown that I wound up paying out the nose to get to the city. Never again.

We were able to leave it alive. Noisy all night long and bathroom a mess. It was noisy at all hours, cleaning people were up rolling cart around outside door at 7:30 am on Sunday morning.

Location, lobby. Bugs in bed, smell in room. I would not stay in this hotel again. We had two different rooms and members from each room woke with bites and bugs were found in the bedding. The carpet was filthy and the exterior corridor was filthy. It was a very disappointing hotel stay.

It was close to the location. It was falling apart. Its location was certainly the best feature. However, the room had the towel rack hanging off the wall and the toilet paper holder was out of the wall and you could see to the other side. The cable didn't work which wasn't good for relaxing to some television and the internet wasn't working so I could get my work done.

The bed was firm. A lot of eye sores but it appeared that they were painting and my first room stunk like paint. This hotel had many problems especially with the language barrier with the staff. I know they understand English but it seems that everyone uses it as an excuse for problems. Broken coffee maker, no cups for breakfast unless you asked. Noisy from car traffic. At least the bed was comfortable. They got one thing right.

Not one thing. The rooms were nasty. The rooms were nasty, the floor was heavily soiled, and the towels were dengy and there were crumbs in bed. There were also metal prongs of some sort sticking out beneath the bed which my child hit on several occasions. That was my second room accommodations. The first room was mildew smelling. What a horrid experience.

Not clean. Not clean, there was a white cane from the weekend before, Prom. The chain type device was broken so we used the cane to prop the door. Under the bed was a spent cigar tube in a non-smoking room.
