I read other reviews after booking and was a little worried. I found the room to be pretty good especially for the price. It was close to the attractions that I was visiting with my family and the staff was very helpful and nice. I would stay again if in the area.

This was the worst stay in Albany I have ever had, the carpet was faded the toilet leaked and the floor was wet, which made the room smell, did not have enough towels and wash clothes for my family, we only had one small, I mean small bar of soap for 4 people, the window curtains were dirty. I will not tell anyone to stay at this location.

Not much. To noisy outside throughout the night. Not a place for quiet time or family.

I used to live in Albany, however, during a recent visit to Albany, I stayed here, and was greatly impressed at how much better this hotel now was. Hotel was clean, and service was barely above average, but hey barely above average is still above average. The pool was nice and clean as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel now. Still not a huge fan of the location though. Even though the hotel itself is greatly improved, the area it is still not the best part of town, however it definitely isn't in the worst part of town either.
