stayed here during overnight trip through new mexico and colorado (to the great sand dunes - amazing). decent hotel - nothing special but nothing to complain about. friendly front desk. first 'non-smoking' room smelled very much like smoke, so we easily switched to a better smelling room. typical hotel decor - accurate representation in the photos. for the money (paid $88 with tax), it was pretty good. limited continental breakfast included.

It was a very clean room and comfortable beds. I liked this room overall. It was very clean and the coffee maker, microwave and fridge was nice amenities to have. It was fairly quiet even being on a major state highway. The location was convenient for traveling to the Sand Dunes since it was on the East end of town.

We were there for convenience because of a flight the next morning. It was easy and relatively inexpensive.

Entire hotel smelled like smokers. Hotel should be priced much lower. Hotel smelled like smoking. No ironing board in rooms, which as a business traveler is essential. Way overpriced for quality. Location was sub par, not many restaurants in walking distance. Room backed to a lot with idling semis.

"Room was filthy, I had to personally go to the front desk and pick up an iron & ironing board, service was quesationable at best"

I stayed here for a night before playing golf in town. I picked this hotel because it's less than a mile from the course, we were checked in quickly and the rooms were very clean and weel kept. Plenty of room for the two of us and I would stay here again.

Clean, nicely furnished. Poor construction, breakfast not all that good.

"This is a no-frills place to rest your body after a day of climbing the Great Sand Dunes. The rooms are comfortable and clean and a donut/coffee breakfast is offered each morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. If you must have a bar and restaurant to complete your experience, you can walk next door to another hotel and satisfy your needs......the rooms THERE are double what you'll pay here, though."

The Days Inn Alamosa was comfortable and affordable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was good. We will definitely stay at the Days Inn Alamosa again.

Good hotel for one night stay. Water was too cold to bath in. Older small hotel, not very many rooms. The rooms were clean, but I would not stay in the hotel if I have to stay more than one night.

"If you want to feel like you slept in a bar, this is the place for you. Even non-smoking rooms smell of smoke. Hotel staff was unhelpful. Spend your money elsewhere."

We both had very bad allergy attacks. I think the carpet needs to be replaced in the rooms. We had to check out the next day and could not stay. I would not recommend this hotel if you have allergies.

I liked that the gentleman at the front dest was able to provide hair conditioner. There was hair on the bed sheets! The continental breakfast was nice, cereal, toast and coffee.

Not crowded. Staff lacked knowledge and argued over who would wait on us. Hotel was a bit run down, with poor maintenance fixes. Some lighting that did not work indoors and out. The staff was under-trained, as our first door key did not work, and they didn’t know how to register us.

Ease of check-in. Good breakfast. While eating breakfast, dirty sheets from rooms upstairs were being thrown into basket below near our table.

Lobby was very attractive and inviting ( mirror, furniture, and fruit on the coffee table). Prefer thin and fluffy synthetic pillows. I worry about dust mites so would like recommended pillow covers. The attractive lobby and friendly staff immediately made us feel welcome. We had a comfortable two-day stay.

The best value of my trip! Only one that had breakfast to offer and a good one! N/A Was very surprised that we had both a microwave and refrigerator. A great value for the money. Room was a bit small but certainly large enough to be very comfortable.

They had clean room. The person checking us in didn't know how and took a very long time.
