Date of Stay:
July, 2009
While i was there i saw the sights and city of Pitt and visited some friends, I think this has been the best stay in the Pitt area and i can say it was because of the hotel.
Date of Stay:
May, 2009
Bed wascomfortable but not great, it was quiet in the room. The pocket door to the bathroom did not have a front roller on it which made very hard to close. Appear to be a little behind on their maintenance.
Date of Stay:
January, 2009
The room was close to airport but it was filty dirty and had obviously not been vacuumed. Under the bed were potato chips that someone just shoved under the bedspread. We also had bugs. When we spoke to front desk they did nothing. We got out as fast as we could and would never stay there again. The people working there could care less if you are satisfied or not. Very poor customer service!!!

Hotel formerly Sleep Inn with the stand up showers. Best qualities; hotel management and upkeep very good. Hotel showing some age, but noticeable efforts to rennovate and upgrade this facility. Very quiet and very close to PIT airport. J(GM and part owner) excellent with his attention to guests' needs.

We had to catch an early flight in the morning which was the only reason that we booked the room. Shuttle service was available and earlier than many of the places that we checked. They were prompt and courteous. The room was small but very sufficient for our purpose. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Staff was polite and helpful. Within walking distance to Kmart which was helpful for picking up last minute items. Will stay again if needed and would recommed.

No problems. Hotel was old but clean.

Clean room with a great shower. Very close to the airport and Robinson Town Center. No frills but all the basics covered for a good price. Would stay again.

I have never had a more comfortable bed than this one.
Date of Stay:

Location. King size room without a sofa or a lounge chair. Only desk chairs. Needs to have more creature comforts. Sofa, lounge chair. Also needs to have windows that open to let in some fresh air...a little stale.
Date of Stay:
September, 2007
The room had a great view of the pretty scenery. The showers had excellant pressure and was very spacious. Clean and safe. Kmart 24 hour store and market is right there. Great place and close to everything.

First or many business trips to Pittsburgh. Nice place but in-room movies are essential. I would not stay here again for that one and only reason. Otherwise all was fine.
Date of Stay:

Close to desired location. Staff, free breakfast was terrible! Staff was rude, skip the free breakfast - not worth it. Go to Eat and Park up and around the corner for a better meal!

This was by far the worst hotel ever, we were suposed to stay two nights and left after one, the room was horible, the bed even worse, dirty, smelly, nasty, only a stand up shower, that felt like you were going to fall through the floor into the room below. What looked to be blood stains in the bathroom, please save yourself the agrivation and never stay here!!!! The second day we went to the holiday inn express on cambells run road and it was wonderfull, they even let us check in at 9:30 am so we could get out of the days inn.

Front desk staff was incredibly unfriendly, did not feel welcome at all. Shower was tiny and bathroom was awkward and didn't have a fan. But, the airport shuttle was great and the driver was friendly. Got some decent sleep before a flight, would probably go back when flying out of pittsburgh.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Ice machine was not convenient to anyone above the first floor, the shower stall made me feel claustrophobic. It served it's purpose for a place to crash but if you were traveling with anyone or will be staying in the room for an extended period of time I suggest you look else where.

They are new owners to the hotel. Jim the owner is a great honest guy, and willing to accomodate in anyway. I had a quite and pleasant stall. The manager is a real jerk, very inconsderate

The first room they gave me had a leaky faucet but they gave me another room. Pool area can be very noisy if there are a lot of people. Will not let you check in until at least 2:30. Other then that staff was ok, room was nice, and breakfast was good.
Date of Stay:
July, 2008
The lowest quality of sleeping mattresses of any hotel I ever stayed in. Relatively clean, at convenient location next to super K-Mart. Room was decent sized, with cable TV and refrigerator, but also with old and uncomfortable beds. Hotel has a convenient free wireless internet. Indoor pool was not in use (pump waiting for repair) so I cannot comment on it. Complementary breakfast was decent with very clean eating space.
Date of Stay:
April, 2009
The rooms were large and very clean. The staff was friendly and the hotel is close to the airport.

Near by stores and location. I am handicap and the room was not close to the elevator. Overall the hotel was nice.
