nice friendly welcome. room clean and comfortable didn't sample the cooking. The only dissapointment was that the although there is wifi available it was only accessable in the bar area or reception.

this place is ok, very close to the airport, a bus stops across the road to go into the city, it takes about 25 minutes to get to the bus station which is a minutes walk from the millenium stadium and costs £4 each way. If you use a sat nav the post code will take you to a different hotel because they share the postcode with 3 other hotels, annoying if you are in a rush like iwas. The people at the desk were very friendly.

Brilliant valueThis hotel is the cheapest I have found yet it is good quality and the attached restaurant is excellent.I would have scored the food as excellent but breakfast was average.

Very handy, clean and simple hotel if you are flying out of Cardiff Airport. I had to take my daughter for a flight at 5am and managed to get back to bed at the Hotel for an hour or two before heading back to Pembrokeshire. the alternative would have been getting up at 3am and driving there and back with no shut eye. No contest. Will stay again. Not luxiourious but clean, quiet and friendly. Well priced.

2 nts with a toilet that didn't flush, shower fittings coming away from wall and no hot water!Complained on day one about toilet not flushing, later that day someone came to look at it and said it was fixed and it wasn't. Complained next morning and they said it would be put on the list for the plumber to fix that day. In the meantime they sent the cleaner who was very helpful but couldn't fix it so she filled the cystern using buckets of water from another room in order to flush it. Plumber eventually arrived but when we got back to hotel it still wasn't working . He had secured the shower fitting to the wall though! Also no hot water, but there was a technique to that apparently, that the cleaner did share with us. The toilet and fixtures and fittings is only the start, I could feedback on other areas too. Worst hotel i've ever stayed in - £45 a night for a double room with those conditions and only continental breakfast is a rip off. Never any offer of another room at any point either.

Whilst the staff were excellent and the hotel was clean it was a little tired, and one of our non-smoking rooms smelt of stale cigarette smoke.Breakfast was a little disappointing but we might not have read the small print!Whilst this hotel probably represented value for money I would probably try to book the more expensive at the other end of the road if I was to return to Cardiff.

days innthe heat from the radiator was insufficient due to the bed being adjacent to it. The cups were dirty. The bathroom door was filthy. The woodwork (architraves/skirting) needed cleaning and painting.

Excellent for PriceI was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room, having never stayed at Days Inn previously. There is an LCD TV in each room with freeview channels, hairdryer, spare pillows, tea/coffee etc. Much better and cleaner than Travelodge. Also, the twin rooms are actually twin beds and not a sofa bed made up. My only issues with this hotel would be the shower did not heat up in my room, however, as I was with other parties I used the one in theirs so not much of a problem.

Days Inn CardiffNeeded budget hotel for the night and got everything I expected - nothing fancy, just the basics. Simple, clean and functional. Breakfast wasn't up to much - continental in style - but it was adequate. It's very close to the airport so ideal for an early flight.Young receptionist was extremely helpful in providing superb hand-written directions to the Cardiff Bay area where we went for a meal.

Cheap & cheerfulHotel looked a bit bleak from outside, & a bit plain & functional inside.Twin-bedded room very small!Shower not very powerful & no soap!Breakfast good, though, & friendly, helpful staff.Overall, for £40, good value.

The room was basic as expected, but next door to an Airport Car Parking Facility!!! Busses in and out all night, car doors opened and slammed shut all night long!!!!! he Indian restaurant, food was nice, but no popdoms were served or offered, the service was dire and the atmosphere like the moon, non existant!! I had Paneer Chilli to start and his snidey comment and sneer when asked if was hot didn't help matters, luckily I can take hot; but I wanted to slap the sullen look off the waiters face by the time I'd finished; and I didn't hang around long I promise you. As usual the walls in the place were too thin, and my shower didn't work but the room was clean.

Why not to stay at the days inn cardiff airportWhen we arrived at the hotel we were told how to find our room by a rather sullen receptionist , who seemed to be talking to a friend. On entering our room we found that not only would i toilet not flush properlly but there was also a strange smaell of cat urine in the room. We mentioned this to the receptionist and all she said was that she was sorry. and they didn't have any maintanance staff working...No offer of a change of room.On our booking form it was marked quiet clearly that my wife suffered from coeliacs and would require a gluten free breakfast. This was not provided. Overall our stay her was dismall and uncomfortable for all. A report has been given to the coeliacs society as my wife was so disgusted over her treatment at breakfast time. We will not be staying here again and hopefully other people with the same condition as my wife will give it a wide berth also.

A HavenHaving arrived at Cardiff airport the direction from the gentin Hertz were simple to follow. At reception, concerned about parking a hige hire car, I coudn't have met more helpful staff. While dealing with another resident, I was acknowledged and apologies were made that I couldn't be attended to immediately but that shortly all my needs would be met. I had never been to Wales before and was worried about my onward travel the next day and making sure I hadn't forgotten anything, paperwork variously spewed from my pockets, small handbag (I had travelled with only hand luggage) and plastic pocket in which were my itinerary, route planner directions and hotel details. At last I felt at ease and unrushed. Very quickly I was processed and given the key to my room. I returned to reception to enquire if there was somewhere sheltered nearby where I could indulge my nicoitne habit. The receptionist asked if I'd prefer a smoking room so that I wouldn't have to keep nipping out. Yes please! And this was quickly arranged. I had a meal in the restaurant which was divine and the waiting staff and the bar staff were attentive, informative, courteous and friendly. Everything was terrific. My only criticism (to help other customers who arrive tired and confused) is that I wish I'd been given a reminder of the last sitting for breakfast and that there was free socket for recharging my mobile phone - otherwise...brilliant. I felt safe and welcome.

There was a slight problem with the booking when i arrived but was sorted very quickly.Although I was booked in on the Friday and Saturday night, when I arrived the room allocated for me on the saturday was not ready (I arrived early Saturday morning) but this problem was quickly rectified and i was given a room.I had previously phones to enquire if booking in early in the morning was fine, and was advised that would be fine. The room was clean and the staff were very polite, especially the staff in the restaurant, who were fantastic.Woould go again. :)

Days Inn Cardiff AirportA low cost hotel where the accommodation was adequate. What the info fails to mention is that it has a park and ride to Cardiff Airport located immediately behind it which meant I was woken by a bus revving up before 6am. This notwithstanding, it was good value for money and a convenient stop for anyone flying out early.

Days Inn & Airport parkingThis was the ideal place to stop over and park your car in the carpark next door if you are planning on a flight out of Cardiff Airport it was so easy to arrange, I would certainly recommend this.
