The Days Inn Albany NY was totally adequate. We got the room as expected from the Orbitz order, no frills, no fancy flowers. Staff was expeditious and polite, and room was clean. Mini Coffee maker in the room.

Nothing. It was dirty feeling and the carpet, etc in terrible condition. This hotel needs some serious renovations. I was scared to go barefoot in my room. Everything was faded and dirty looking. I would never stay there again. The staff was friendly.

the location of the hotel was great. the room needed to be vaccumed. not enough pillows on a kingsize bed(only 2 were given, called for more but only had one). need alittle more friendlier people working the desk when checking in.

Close to airport and restaurants. Room needed to be remodeled, old bedding and curtains made it not look clean. Worn carpet made the floor look dirty. I felt a little uncomfortable being told the closest way to my room was to use the service stairs. Room was old and tired. But the staff were friendly and did wake up service and called me a cab in the morning. Lobby was clean.

The facility was nice enough, they just don't own a vacuum. There was mold on the soap holder in the shower. None of the ice machines worked on any of the three floors.

Uncomfortable, didn't plow the snow in the drive, which is steep. To start with, I couldn't make it up the driveway on the first pass because of the snow. They hadn't plowed. They still hadn't plowed two hours later when I decided to go get something to eat. I couldn't leave. There was an odd smell in the lobby. The bed was uncomfortable. I didn't receive my wake-up call. Worst Days Inn I've ever been in.

The Days Inn in Albany, NY was a disappointment. The hallways were dark and unclean making it very uncomfortable to come and go from the room. The room itself was dirty, the carpet had white things all over it, the walls had nail holes above the headboard so everytime you woke up in the middle of the night you were convinced those holes were bugs. The soap at the sink outside of the bathroom was open and used and the shower was filled with mold also the fan in the bathroom sounded like a chain saw when turned on. The rules at the pool clearly stated no glass and no alcohol but the 30 plus people all gathered around the tiny pool were drinking glass bottles of budweiser and never once was any member of the hotel visable or around to help except for at check in. All in all I would definately not recommend staying at this Days Inn.

Front desk person went above and beyond to assist us. They had a great continental breakfast, the staff was all extremely friendly, and it's located right off the highway (and right across from a Cheesecake Factory).

Based on the reviews I read before, I was a little apprehensive of staying in this hotel but I figured it would be difficult to get another hotel at a comparatively similar price in the vicinity so I stuck with it. Surprisingly, my room was clean and it didn't reek of cigarette smoke as I feared. It was nice, particularly the coffeemaker. Although the wifi signal in the room I was at was very weak, it served its purpose as I was able to access the internet and check my emails. Overall, I think I'd still stay at this hotel when I visit Albany again.

When we checked in and got to our room it was very dirty. Major carpet stains, inches of dust on TV and dressers, stains on the walls etc. Totally digusting !!!!! With that we were cked into another room TWICE as bad as the first. Cancelled our reservation and found a different hotel to stay in.

Well-located, generally clean, quiet. A very good value for the money. Close to Albany airport and lots of eating establishments. Carpet in elevators needs to be replaced, soiled and worn. A good value for the money. Staff was very accommodating in locating a quiet room for us, away from traffic and elevator noise.

Our stay at Days Inn Albany Airport for one night in May was not comfortable. We had double beds one of which had a broken mattress. The minute I sat on the bed it went down to the floor. Calls made to the front desk about the problem and a request to change room or bed yielded no positive results. In the end I had to sleep on a broken bed for what was a restless night. Upon checkout the next morning, I mentioned the problem again. I have since called the manager and left message but I have had no reply. The room was large enough. The proximity of the hotel to where we needed to be was close and shops and restaurants were nearby. The hotel also served a good continental breakfast.
