Room was basic and clean and had new fridge and microwave. Hot waffle breakfast included cereal, toast and donuts, juice and coffee and fruit. Staff was very friendly. No pool. We were just there for the Bristol TN race which was about a 20 minute ride from there. We'd stay here again.

Hotel seemed to be old and needed renovation. It was clean except the bed linens. They did not seem clean and had holes in the sheet. The bed spread was quite worn as well as the carpet. It was convenient and restaurants nearby. We visited Abingdon while there on a stop in our trip to Alabama. People next door had a dog and let it "mess" on the walkway. There was a garbage bag left by the steps (second floor) the whole time we were there. Small area (lobby) for the continental breakfast which only had cereal, small donuts and you could make yourself a waffle. Don't think I would stay here again.

It was very well kept and clean. The people were very courteous. Just wish it was closer to Bristol Motor Speedway. I would recommend this hotel very highly. For an older hotel, it was very clean and the people were very friendly and courteous.

For the price, totally not worth it, and definitely won't book through an online website again. Got to the hotel and found that I could have stayed cheaper by just showing up without a reservation. Have stayed in cheaper hotels that were much nicer. Completely out-dated, bedding falling apart, lamps did not work, bathroom in ratty condition, not filthy, but certainly not sparkling. We typically camp when staying in this area, and will opt for the tent next time..

Room was smelly - mildew - last person to stay in our room filled out comment card, which was left and said air conditioner had leaked into room. Old hotel - noisey. Expected better of a Days Inn. Breaksfast was very basic and with only 2 small tables to sit - large sign stated that you could not take food from area.

The staff was very nice. The location was great, right off interstate 81. The price was what it should be at most hotels,(no more than $50). It is a no frills hotel, but all I needed was a few nice people (staff), a clean room with a bed, and a good hot shower, it was perfect.

They served freshly baked waffles with butter, syrup & milk for breakfast. Plus the room is clean & comfy. Nothing. I'm satisfied with their services.

Right off the interstate, easy access to historic district, several nearby restaurants. Abit shabby, clock didn't work and shower dripped, aloof morning staff. I stopped for one night of a long road trip. It was a clean, comfortable and affordable motel. Perfectly adequate for my needs. The clock was broken and the shower dripped a little but there were no real problems. The morning staff was a bit aloof but there was a cold breakfast available along with make-your own waffles.

This hotel is very basic. If you are looking for extras then you might be better off staying somewhere else. Its very simple, clean hotel. Rooms are clean, and quiet. Beds comfortable enough. For the price its a great bargain. I would stay again.

The staff was extremely friendly. The location of the hotel was right off of the interstate, and there was a nice Cracker Barrel right next door. The front desk was extremely helpful, and gave us a free upgrade to a king due to high availability. When we returned two days later, on our way back home, the same attendant asked if we like our room from the other night, and when I said yes, he immediately handed me keys to the same room. It's nice to be remembered by a stranger. We will definitely use this motel any time we go through Abingdon.

Easy to get on and off of interstate. Room was not very clean, smelled funny and bathroom not cleaned very well.

Close to interstate without the traffic noise. Bathroom was very small and dimly lit. The shower water could have been hotter as we barely had the cold on and it was lukewarm. It was a good deal for the money-clean and comfortable.

Location. Problems with key working daily. Overall, was a great place during a local festival. But the staff knew nothing about one of the biggest events in the town all year!

Conveniently located for the VA Highlands Festival. Price was good. Only thing did not like was check in not until 3:00 PM. I would stay at this hotel again. Location was easy to get in and out of. Located near friends. My purpose for traveling was the VA Highlands Festival and the hotel was located near that event. Only draw back was the mid afternoon check in time, but the receptionist did what she could to expedite that.

Good sized room with microwave and refrigerator. Somewhat shabby. Rooms clean but definitely not fancy. Comfortable bed.

Location. No hot water in shower. The room was musty and moldy when we checked in. The bed cover and blanket were dirty and stained. We had no hot water in the shower. Even after the office guy came to the room we had no not water in the shower. Room was generally dated and stale.

Very quiet. The bedspread had spots on it. We have stayed twice there and it is very good, just the cleanliness could be better.
