Courteous staff and proximity to beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Allowed early check-in and late check-out. The location was great and the view was excellent.

To be very honest, I cannot think of a better place I would rather have spent my vacation. Located right at the ocean, next to a pier, a club, a restaurant and an ice-cream shop. Wonderful location, nice motel for the price and a beach that you can move around on without having to fight for chairs or a tent. The staff both day and night was excellent and the lady that cleaned our room (718 from 7/24 thru 7/29) went above and beyond what was expected of her to make us feel right at home. If I visit Myrtle Beach in the future, which I will, I will be spending it at this motel for sure. Thanks Days Inn for making my family vacation a very pleasant one and please give the house keeping lady that took care of us a raise because I feel she deserves more for the service she gave us and I am sure she does other customers as well.

Staff was decent. Parking is free and close. Old. Smells. Dirty. Carpet disgusting. I would never stay there again. The carpet is so old and probably contributes to the smell in the entire hotel. I was Very disappointed for the price. There was smoking at the pool where we took our 2 yr old son that was unpleasant. The elevator smelled like feet and was very slow we usually had to use the stairs which reeked of smoke. This hotel deserves no stars. You couldnt pay me to stay there again.

The Hotel staff from the desk clerks to the cleaning staff and even the security guard were all very friendly and did a great job. We had an ocean front room and the view was great. The hotel was very clean but it had a little age showing. There were at least three restaurants around the hotel plus the hotel had its own. You had your choice of burgers to seafood all within a very short walking distance, not even 30 steps away. The beach was super and had lifeguards on duty. We stayed at south Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach and it was very family oriented. I would definetly stay again.

Much improved from several years ago, clean, good condition. Small pool. Overall a very nice hotel, clean and well maintained room. A little pricy, but all ocean view rooms are. Nice quiet area with several businesses nearby. A couple fairly quiet bars (fun to watch from the balcony late at night) and a nice fishing pier with restaurant. Plenty of parking, but I would suggest you park away from the elevator area as all the people will walk with luggage near your car if you do. I'll stay here again.

Each room has a balcony and ocean view (some better than others) - you can fall asleep to the sound of the surf. Surfside Beach is quiet, totally walkable and there's an ice cream parlor across the street - now who could ask for more. Rooms/decor due for an upgrade, but for a beach hotel it's just fine and dandy!

Location was good, not too crowded. Mildew in bathrooms, decor needed updating badly. While we enjoyed the stay, the promise of a balcony was disappointing. Not only did the balconies not face the beach. They were on the side of the building) they were also Very small. Barely could fit the two chairs on them. It was located in a non crowded area compared to Myrtle Beach. We didn't have children with us and wanted privacy. Not many children there so that was good. Needs to be updated very badly. All old furnishings.

This place is in a quiet area where you can really relax. The day staff is great and so are the housekeepers. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Park your car and take it easy! Parking is not a problem here. You can keep an eye on your car from the room. The hotel is not at all in disrepair. It was quite nice. The night staff could use a lesson in customer service. We were looking for some travel weather info and they wouldn't stop watching TV long enough to help us out. Otherwise, a great stay. No guest laundry.

It was located in a quiet part of the beach. It was next door to a bar. Very enjoyable, courteous staff. Would definitely stay again. Quiet area of the surfside beach.

"This Hotel is in serious need of a remodel. Rooms have odors, carpet badly worn. Forget the affliated Bar. Overpowering tobacco smell (and i smoke), slow service, dirty. Beds are TERRIBLE. Staff is great. Remodel, Remodel."

Great location. Walking distance to beach, restaurants, and in a beautiful neighborhood. The room was a tad small. Two people could not sit at the table they provide. Its in a real neighborhood with bar, pier, restaurant All on the ocean.

It was on the beach and it was close to bar and grill and have restaurant in the hotel and one next door. I reserved a king side bed and ocean view which was the highest cost of the rooms available. When I got there I got double bed and not a room I reserve. I was disappointed that I didn't get the room that I paid for. I received a room that cost less and I didn't received any compensation for it. When I pointed out that it was not the room I reserved and prepaid for, the desk person told me that there was nothing he can do about it. It was the only room available.

It was very clean and quite place to stay. I was please completely with my stay. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. My stay was a great one. I would recommend this place to all my family and friends.
