Dazzling DaysI couldn't get into my usual hotel using my company accomodation tool and this was a cheap alternative in the city centre. I couldn't believe the price compared to other hotels I've stayed at in the area, and I booked last minute too. Great location next to all the bars and restaurants. good that you can open the windows too although double glazing was not enough to drown out the city noise so I had a couple of bad nights sleep. Ask to be placed in the front facing rooms if possible! Definitely on the budget range of hotels but like I say, very good clean and comfortable hotel and can't go wrong for thsi price.

Days Hotel was adequate for the 2 night stay. Very close to the venue which was the main reason for using them. Good price.

Good price for city centre location - free broadband did not work in 5th floor room - signal not strong enough but worked in the bar area on the 1st floor.

booked a double room with "king size bed" - turned out to be two mattresses (of different heights) on two bed bases, pushed together, with one king size sheet and duvet. was told "all our double rooms are like that". asked to speak to manager - was informed that the manager would call me. still waiting...

Very convenient for the theatre

Rooms comfortable for a few nights stay. Basic and clean. The shower was a bit temperamental to control and leaked quite a bit of water onto the bathroom floor, despite having a shower curtain in place. Apart from that not bad.

Very friendly and comfortable hotel in the centre of Nottingham, ideal for the Theatre Royal and Royal Concert Hall. The main downside of this hotel is the lack of on site parking, and the deal they have with a nearby car park isn't great. I would reccommend using the park and ride tram network, which has a stop less than a minute away from the hotel.

The reception staff went out of their way to help me find my way to the hotel on foot from the station and even arranged room service when I arrrived bringing up the tray themselves. Nothing was too much trouble and I found them to be welcoming and friendly. The room I had was great, spacious, clean and quiet and I signed up for their loyalty programme as I will certainly stay there again. The healthy food choice for the bar menu was limited but the food I had was good and well presented. The hotel is in a very good central location near to bars restuarants and shops, good for both business and leisure trips. The reception decor is simple and basic but I found my room to be excellent.

We all thought that the hotel was value for money and exactly what we wanted - spot on! Would use again, only issue was no car park on site - found on street parking just up the road though which is free from 1800 on Sat to 0800 Mon.

Maybe I was unlucky but I had a room on the top floor and there was a constant loud hum clearly audible in my room, from something like a ventilation system, that prevented me from sleeping. I even turned on the air conditioning in my room to (unsuccessfully) drown out the background noise. You could hear it right through the corridor. Not a restful night!

Was put in a disabled room which had no working tap in the bathroom. After complaining we were transfered to a new room which then had a broken tv. The manager came and replaced the tv within 30 minutes however, all the messing around with rooms made us late going out in the evening. Didnt eat at the hotel as the menu was very limited. Had stayed at the hotel previously when it was Citylodge but was dissapointed with my stay this time around. No toiletries in rooms which was inconvenient. On the whole, staff were friendly and helpful but not sure I will go back again.

Parking not attached to hotel, but not far away. However, it cost Â£14 per 24 hours. Thursday night was quiet, but Friday night there was noise until 4.30am from neighbouring pubs/ clubs etc.

For the price this very central hotel is hard to beat, would've liked a double bed rather than two singles & would've preferred quilts to sheets but these are minor quibbles.

4th floor room gave a good view. Price was significantly cheaper than booking diect. Car park was a bit of a trek, should have dropped of bags then parked up. Would stay again.

A very comfy hotel right in the city centre with everything close at hand. Excellent transport links and very polite, friendly and helpful staff. I've stayed there before, and I'm sure I will do again.
