Unfortunately, it seems the hotel is undergoing some construction at the time I stayed there. Of the 4 nights I stayed there with both of my friends, I was awoken up quite early by the sounds of drilling and hammering on 2 of those days.

We came to Montreal for a quick weekend getaway. Location and availible parking on site were the two main reasons that we picked this location. We were dissapointed in the room ammenties and quality of the mattresses. We were also not aware of the $18 per night cost to park in their garage. If we made the trip again, we would look elsewhere for accomodations.

Close to the area we wanted to be in. The staff seemed very angry. Very nice hotel 2 blocks from st. Catherine's street, very clean but the parking garage was under construction so it was hard to park.

ideal location in downtown montreal, walkable to many good restaurants particularly the maharaja buffet and mcdonaldsthe hotel double bedroom is spacious and clean and the receptionist at the lobby was friendly and gave info on the local tours. only criticism is the hotel restaurant is not worth going to and the local restaurants nearby are better value for money, also room service to order food from the hotel restaurant ends at 10pm. otherwise worth the stay for the cleanliness, location and spacious rooms.

Clean room with friendly staff, Everyone spoke great english. Went up for a concert at the Bell Center, great for that, just a short walk to the Center. Nice proximity to the downtown area. Hotel took a long time to remove the hold charge from my credit card. One traveller staying at the hotel had his truck stolen from right out in front @ ~2am the night we stayed, but i guess thats a chance you take staying anywhere in Montreal.

"This hotel is nicely located within walking distance of many central restaurants and shopping areas. The room was good sized. The hotel is also located within a couple blocks of Metro subway stops. On the downside the bed was extremely uncomfortable, and after walking on the floor in white socks I quickly realized they were dirty from the floor. The staff seemed to be ""business like"" and were not ""hospitable"", could use some friendliness classes."

Convenient. Extra charges at check in. Room was as expected, fairly comfortable and a decent amount of space. Very convenient location.

Everything is at walking distance. No special rate for parking for hotel guests. The location was great! Walking distance to two Metro stations, pubs, restaurants, shopping and even to Old Montreal. We parked the car and didnt use it for the whole weekend. We walked everywhere and returned by train. I recommend this hotel!

Helpful front desk receptionist. Noisy air-conditioning unit. Nice location, in a safe neighborhood with close access to the Metro and walking distance from St. Catherine St. Price and quality match expectations. The air conditioning unit was loud; but, I felt clean, comfortable, and safe at all times.

Location, cleanliness of beds, free parking availability. Staff's courtesy/manners, general appearance, lack of breakfast. Besides what I stated above, here is my experience: The hair dryer was on fire due to overheating after I used it for about 10 seconds. I took it down to the concierge and, without an apology; they replaced it with another one for me. After I used it for about 2 minutes, the new hair dryer shut off and were presumably dead again! I went downstairs (without the dryer in my hand this time) to the concierge and told them about it again. Without an apology again this time, they heard my story, gave me a blind stare, and ignored my experience, i.e. without offering to send someone up to my room and have a look. Other than the less-than-friendly concierge, the other people (such as the porter) were either not friendly or simply was not in a mood to welcome their patrons! Having said that, when I was allotted Days Inn as my hotel in Montreal, I kind of expected this kind of experience because Days Inns are our last choice among all the other major chains, even worse than Motel 6 or Econolodge!

The Staff was nice. The Receptionist seemed upset that we arrived early, and did nothing 2 accommodate our early arrival. The hotel is located in a prime location; it is not the prettiest of hotels but good enough.

Parking was extra at $15/day. Expensive and no discount parking for hotel guest. Good convenient location and close to downtown Montreal. Indoor self parking available at $15/day with key pass.

Very close to downtown of Montreal. Parking lot smells so bad. They charged me $15 per night. It's quite a good hotel. $15 per night parkingbecasue it is located near downtown. And the parking lot is terrible, it smells bad and so dated. But room was not bad.

Location. The air conditioner was broken in our first room and the hotel staff seemed, at first, to be indicating that the repair could not be effected until the following morning and we'd have to live with it. When we insisted that the room was uninhabitable as it was, they did move us to another room. The hotel was unremarkable, but convenient to St. Catherines Street, shops and restaurants. The $15 per day parking came as a bit of a surprise.

Location. No free breakfast. Hotel was very clean. We like to walk, so it was a good location for us. Lifeguard was very, very helpful. (Marie evil's sure it is spelled wrong.).

Very helpful and friendly staff. Decor getting a bit dated. At the given star rating and price level, this was an excellent hotel. Although room decor is a bit dated and this is not a very new building, the staff was very friendly, location was good, and cleanliness was excellent.

Large room, lots of light. Only soap and shampoo provided (no lotion or conditioner). It was convenient, clean, reasonable, and we found our room quiet and comfortable. The staff was helpful, and made an effort to put us away from the large noisy groups. The refrigerator in the room was very helpful.

The dirties hotel for 85$/day (tax included) and I stayed for five days. Hairs in the bath tubes and towels for five days. Youth hostel was much cleaner.

Great location, close to everything. Spacious rooms. Washrooms are due for a renovation.
