Good value, simple roomThe room was small but functional. It did everything it needed to and the free bottle of was welcome but I didn't drink it that night. The location is excellent and very central. I only used the restaurant for breakfast and I was the only person in it. The food seemed a little better than I expected and was cooked to order. Cheap and functional. I'd use it again if I was in the area.

This is a nice hotel in a good location near Piccadilly Station. I, unfortunately, was given a room over one of the conference rooms where an event (a karoke contest possibly) went on until 4am. I would stay at this hotel again, but I would be very specific about what room/location in the hotel would be acceptable when I checked in.

Small room but new in appearance, clean, smart, close to the station and theatre. Ideal for simple inexpensive overnight accommodation.

The hotel was close to Picadilly station which made all parts of Manchester very accessible. It was within walking distance of the centre of Manchester which was good.

We felt the hotel was quite good value for money, breakfast was excellent, and we received a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival - which can never be bad! Enjoyed our say and the NCP nearby surprisingly proved to be quite economical on a weekend for parking.

The hallways outside of the rooms can be noisy but the rooms are spotlessly clean and the staff is very courteous and professional.

DAYS HOTEL MANCHESTERI had stayed at this hotel only 4 weeks previously and had used airmiles to book two rooms these were very spacious and pleasant it also included breakfast. Therefore I decided to book the hotel again through this site. Unfortunatley our experience was not so pleasant or comfortable, the double room was apparently one of the newly refurbished and I now understand what they mean by compact. The room was a "standard double" that in all fairness was clean etc but very small and extremely hot (uncomfortable), I would class it as a single room with double bed the wardrobe was also single size and this is what you get when booking through late rooms. The shower sprayed all over the floor and run through to the bedroom. The hairdryer stopped working after 10 minutes and the kettle had rust in it and did'nt work. The day/early evening staff were very accomodating and tried their best to resolve problems quickly, however the night staff were not so concerned. I reported the kettle not working and after 10 minutes went downstairs to have a cigarette the two reception staff were having a laugh and joke which was fine but there was little to no urgency to resolve my problem with the kettle. It was not until I went back into the recption and asked if a kettle had been sent to my room that I was advised it was being dealt with, I advised they could give me the kettle and I would take it myslef and was told it had to come from another room. The kettle arrived shortly after I arrived back in my room. I wonder if it had arrived at that point had I not approached the staff. The cost charged for booking through late rooms did not included breakfast and this would have cost an additinal £9.99 each so really not much cheaper. The Days hotel also have an offer where if you stay for two nights between I believe July-September 09 you get a third night free, booking via late rooms does not count, it apparently has to be through their own web site.

most pleasant stayI had a very unfortunate experience at the Citi Park hotel and left couldn't stay another night, this hotel the reviews were great and when I arrived I couls see why. My first ever trip to Manchester and I thought it was ruined but the front of house manager was very welcoming and offered 5 star service. I thought the hotel itself was very clean and modern superb all round and if I ever visit Manchester again I will defintiely be staying here!!!! Thank you so much for making my experience better.
