Excellent price for a downtown hotel. Very friendly staff at desk and bar. Rooms are a bit on the small side, but are comfortable. The only problem was the A/C. It was very noisy. Repair suggestion was to run on high (this only masked the noise somewhat). Would have liked a better suggestion than that. Otherwise a clean comfortable stay.

Recently renovated, very comfortable rooms, great sheets! Unexpectedly nice, well worth the price. Great amenities. I will stay here anytime I come to Grand Rapids.

The Days Hotel was amazing. I'm not an avid traveler but I have high expectations when I get a room this place met all of them. It was clean, easily accessible, quiet, free parking and the staff was so very nice. The room was super comfortable and definitely fit all of our needs (three girls traveling with a barrage of luggage)!! I will absolutely stay again.

We stayed downtown at the Days Hotel for a family getaway. Our room was very comfortable, with beautiful photography throughout the hotel. The staff was courteous and professional, and customer service was top notch. The restaurant food and service were excellent! We walked directly across the street to the Public Museum of Grand Rapids and had a magnificent time. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay!

I requested a double bed and they gave me a single, small room for two adults. Not only that but the person at the front desk stated that it always happen with Orbits. I explained her that I'm always do travel arraignments with Orbitz and never encounter a situation like this.

Great location. Didn't like having the sink area outside the bathroom.

After being in a cold conference room all day, we so looked forward to getting comfortable for the evening - when we checked in we were told that the hotel is part of the "green hotel" plan and they turn off all of the heat in unused rooms. We found out that when it is 2 degrees outside, it is only 45 degrees inside a cold hotel room! The beds were COLD, the floor was COLD, the toilet seat was DARN COLD! We left the room to go back to our conference for two hours, thinking it would warm up while we were gone - when we returned - the room was still cold - maybe 10 degrees warmer. We had to have maintenance come up - he heat taped the "new" heater and left. He admitted to us that the policy is rediculous and that the heat has to work twice as hard to get the room up to a reasonable temperature, which it finally got to at about 4 o'clock in the morning. We knew we couldn't change rooms, we would be starting over at square one with another freezing cold room! We will think twice about staying there next year for the same conference and just a warning to anyone getting ready to stay there - if it is cold outside, bring your long underwear cuz Day's Hotel is goin green!! Or maybe ice blue?

The Days Hotel has recently been entirely remodeled in beautiful gold's, red's and greens. I couldn't believe I could get a room for under 100 in such a nice hotel. The bed and pillows were vey comfortable which is always a plus. The staff were very professional, pleasant and quick. We had a wonderful breakfast on Easter morning in the hotel restaurant. The food manager worked as hard as his staff and his great sense of humor started our day off right.Pleasant staff and beautiful surroundings - I would definitely recommend this hotel and the Pearl Street Cafe.

The hotel should have a separate room where smokers can go to light up. It was inconvenient and uncomfortable going outside to smoke. One thing that we noticed and didn't like is the fact that the American flag was not taken down after dark or illumated after dark if it was to be left up. My husband is a veteran and both of our sons are in the military...so something like this is very important to our family. I did notice that the flag was at half-staff on Memorial day. On a positive note, I must say that the staff was wonderful. For instance, we had a problem with our room card not working and there were 3 people working on getting the problem resolved very quickly. Over all, we had a great experience with our stay....and the bed was sooooo very comfortable to sleep in.

The hotel stuff was very help and friendly. The only problem that we found that the bathroom light didnt work correctly and there was sticky spot on the floor by the fridge. Food was very good. Over all we enjoyed our stay and will stay there again on our next vist

Parking was very convenient given the downtown location. The hotel was easily accessible from the highway. Nicely located in downtown Grand Rapids, MI. The parking was close to the hotel and well lit. The hotel and room were very clean, and the staff were very courteous and helpful.

The interior of the hotel is nicer than it was before the renovation, but our room (and we paid premium) was a mess. One light was out, the bathtub was sticky, there were stains on the bed, and the phone was unplugged (which we didn't know until morning, so I'm not sure if we had any phone calls). We were dressed in business casual but the lady at the desk was still a little rude, I'd had to think how she would treat people who were really dressed down. When we checked out and told the desk person the problems we just got a mumbled sorry. It would have been better if they offered us something back for the unpleasant stay - 10% off our bill to tell us "this isn't normally how we do business" could have gotten our repeat business. We won't be back!

Hotel was right off highway. For the price, I felt it should have included a free continental breakfast. Everything was fine, really. Hotel seemed to be very accommodating. My handicap room was right next to the elevator. The hotel was more expensive, though, than hotels I normally stay in. I can't remember any other hotel that I have stayed in that did not include a free complimentary breakfast. But the hotel did have a restaurant with a broad price range of items.

The manager was awesome! He took great care of us by driving us back and forth to the BOB. Our television was broke when we first got there. We made one call and the TV was replaced in less then 10 minutes. The staff was all very helpful & friendly.

The location was great. Easy access to center of downtown. Great corner room that would be awesome for the fireworks for Celebration on the Grand. The service was very friendly and outgoing. Would definitely stay again. Hotel restaurant had good food also.

Location to Pew campus. Little dingy. Had a smell. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. The location is terrific. I think it’s a little worn although it says it has been renovated.

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting the downtown area - beautiful short walk across river takes you into the heart of downtown, great dining, we saw a great concert at Van Andel Arena & then safely walked back across to our quiet hotel area afterwards. Also small bike taxi's will take you all over town! It was a great weekend!

None. Excellent location to walk the downtown area. We visited the museum and the beautiful park which is located across the street. We loved the proximity of the property to everything. Awesome place and it was just renovated and it looks great. Very upscale.
