Well kept, comfortable and run by a very friendly and helpful staff. However, if NYC is your daily destination you must consider at least 2 1/2 hrs conmuting to and from, once you've mastered the very exhausting but affordable public transportation system ($3.10 round-trip by NJ Transit/Path), even the locals seem dazzed and confused at times. Being on a family trip we had just arrived from a kitchen-equipped suite in DC which we sorely missed because there's not even a microwave to be had and you're bound to order out because NOTHING is at walking distance. All things considered, your best bet is to stay as close to Manhattan as possible, you'll end up saving precious time and energy if not money. Because there's nothing

Staff was great! Our TV didn't work, so they sent up maintains, and within minutesI was being moved to a different room, which they upgraded me with! very pleasant! free parking.

I like the Days Hotel: the price is right; the shuttle to and from the airport lets me grab the $15.00 train into NYC; the staff is always really nice. Few hotels at this price point have restaurants; I enjoy being able to rely on their transportation options, not rent a car, and be able to eat a meal at the hotel, rather than go out. Rooms are simple, but clean. Everyone from the shuttle drivers to the front desk to the restaurant staff to the housekeepers, are friendly and helpful.

Decent place by the airport for the price. Easy access to the train by getting the shuttle to P4. Friendly helpful staff.

A quiet and comfortable room to get a little rest before an early flight. Shuttle service was great! They publicize that drop off is at one specific spot, but we were vary early, 4:15am and shared the bus with a flight crew, so the driver asked us which airline and dropped us off at the door. Thanks!!

There is a long waiting for the hotel shuttle bus. There is no public transportation from Newark International Airport to the hotel. If you do not drive a car, the only way is using the hotel shuttle bus. But, comparing with other hotels in the same area, the frequency of its shuttle bus is too low. One night, I wait for the shuttle bus for 35 minutes after I called the hotel! I think it has to provide a higher frequency of shuttle bus. Otherwise, people will choose other hotels.

We thought the hotel was absolutely great. It is only 15 mins outside new york city and for the neighborhood its fine. Its located right next to the airport so there is really nothing around you...........if you do travel like 2 miles down it seems like it may be a little bit of a bad neighborhood. Everyone was nice at the hotel and actually it is very quiet! We enjoyed staying a little bit outside of NYC just due to the traffic in NYC and all the horns you here honking! The hotel also had a resturant and bar in it. Free internet. FREE PARKING! We drove to NYC and paid * a day for parking for 12 hours in a parking garage located on 53rd and 6th ave. But there are a lot of parking garages you can find for about the same price. The bed was nice and the shower had 3 different settings.

Clean, comfortable rooms. Nice restaurant. Good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Felt safe and cared about while there. Very pleasant stay. Clean and comfortable. Staff and drivers were all helpful and friendly. Nice to have a laundry unit on premises. My kids also felt very comfortable here as there were quite a few other kids in the hotel. We would return gladly, maybe for football season also.

Was very disappointed. Need more than one shuttle to go back and forth to the airport. Took almost 90 minutes to get from airport to hotel after I called the Front Desk. As for room cleanliness, the same toothpick was on the floor by the bed for the three days I stayed there.

This hotel was a great place to stay that's close to the airport. Although we waited over 45min for the hotel van to pick us up from the aiport after we had already called. The staff wasn't as friendly as I would have preferred, but the hotel was clean and there was a great little resturant right off the lobby. I wish the price was a little cheaper, but overall a good place to stay.

Great location to Newark Airport. The free shutle is 24 hours a day and there is no wait. When you are ready they will be there within 20 minutes. Clean room and FAST checkin.

The hotel was clean airport close and quite reasonable compared to a room in Manhattan. The pros: The hotel shuttle ran all night for access to the airport and the NJ transit trains and pick-up. That was the key benefit of this hotel. Three free computers for internet access (so I didn't have to bring my lap-top. And late at night there was easy availability. Cons: I chose this hotel to save money over a Manhattan hotel, but by the time I shuttle'd over to the airport, took the airport airtram to the train station and took the transit to the city, it cost $30 ($15 each way) and took a significant amount of time...So if convenience outweighs money, you may still want to consider a hotel in The City. Add to that the NJ transit was delayed at one point and I sat in the train at Penn Station for 3 hours. And eventually took a cab back for about $80...so consider that. But that was not the hotels fault. The hotel was fine for the price.
