First of all it is a little bit in the middle of nowhere. The first room I got though was refurbished was very small and you could hear the guest next door very clearly,too clearly.So I moved to another room which wasn't as nice and in need of refurbishment. The room was facing the main road so didn't get much sleep since you could hear every car passing by.I ordered a sandwich which was the worst sandwich I have ever eaten.will not return there.

"I checked into this hotel because the Marriot in Swiss Cottage was full. I paid for a supposed 'suite'. The sofa was disgusting - sticky from so many years of use, with stains all over the cushions. The sheets had holes and there was nothing between the mattress and the bottom sheets so that the mattress buttons stuck out. It was appalling. Never again, ever will I stay with this hotel chain."

One night standCame up to London to meet up with some friends, Taxi driver was unsure of where the Hotel was this was because it seemed to have changed hands and name recently, Reception was very good, staff very friendly, Room was very good obviously recently upgraded, if a little small. Comfortable bed, very clean, great bathroom. Very pleasent experience all round.

It was very expensive for no reason. The room was small, the bathroom old (with separate taps for cold and hot water!) and it was in the middle of nowhere in a gloomy street. it looked more like a warehouse.

"This is not a great hotel for tourists since it is far away, and there is no close subway station, but there are buses. Also, they tried to renovate the hotel, so the bathrooms are new, but the carpets are old with lots of marks.Don't hesitate to ask to change your room, my first room was very old and dirty and over looking the parking garage. They changed it right away. The price is pretty good for a london hotel. Didn't eat at the hotel, but the staff were very nice. "

Good location and value for moneyStayed in the hotel for wembley concert. Good vfm and easy transport links for central London. Nice part of london near regents park!

We were very pleased with the entire experience and surprised at the quality for the price we paid. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any of my friends; and plan on staying again on my return to London.

Weekend stay at the Danubius, on our trip to Wembley to see Oasis.Was really happy with our stay at the Danubius, the staff were all very efficient and friendly. In a nice area of London, and within close distance of bus and tube stops.The only thing was when we arrived, we had booked 2 twin rooms, and were told on arrival that the hotel had overbooked the twins, but had allocated us 2 double rooms which were next to each other (which I had e-mailed requesting to be near to each other, as in the past we have arrived at other hotels to find we are no way near to each, not even on the same floor!), it was a problem to us, but can imagine could be awkward for others.Apart from that, had a great stay, would definately stay at the Danubius again.

Over all this was a good hotel. Priced at London prices you get the cost for less than what you might get else where. Would go back again but would look for other options also. Tube nearby is a positive.

Great Hotel for LondonWe stayed in a newly refurbished room which was really nice and spotlessly clean. Not a great view but some of the rooms are overlooking Lords Cricket Ground so they would be good.Drinks ridiculously expensive at the hotel though.

Short StayWelcome was good, but we had trouble when we ordered some tea & toast. We had to go through the person who took our order, which when we went to put on her hotel room bill we could not without his being there, even when we told them what room we were staying in, it delayed our appointment by half hour or so.

very pleasant stayWe really enjoyed our stay at the Danubius, We arrived early and had a drink in the bar while waiting for our room to be ready at 2pm. We were attended to by a lovely receptionist, who because the room wasn't ready until 2.30pm,upgraded us to a better room, we then stayed in a plaza room that had an amazing view and lovely comfy bed. Very clean and nice staff.

Thoroughly enjoyableI stayed for just one night on a business trip and having stayed at many, many central london hotels this has to rate as one of the best. It was a twin room wheras I prefer a double but that aside it is difficult to fault. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have known and the staff veru helpful, firndly and efficient.

Designated Smoking AreaThe hotel has sufficient outside area (front & main entrance) to provide a more comfortable smoking section where it would be possible to enjoy a relaxed drink & smoke. Additionally there is a flat roofed area outside the bar that could also be utilised for this purpose.In all other respects, this hotel offers very good facilities.

Good ChoiceThis was a good choice and value for money. My stay was whilst the underground strikes were on. Walking everywhere was not a problem as conveniently situated. Rooms were clean and facilities adequate. Reception staff friendly and informative. We did not experience the restaurant during our stay. It was good to be out of the main shopping area of Oxford Street etc. being next to Regents Park made you feel you were in the country. Would stay again.
