I had to pick my daughter up on the Saturday morning from Pitlochry train station. We were all then heading down South for a family visit. We had a lovely, warm welcome at the B&B.All the guests arrived at the same time, which could have made any normal host flap. But Martin acted very calmly. We were shown to our room which was very comfortable. The whole house had a lovely warm atmosphere about it.We had a wonderful nights sleep and woke fully refreshed. The breakfast was gorgeous, especially the scrambled eggs(my son says).Wish we could travel every weekend!

Top quality B&BDelightful country house set in lovely grounds handy for Pitlochry but away from the centre of the town. Room spacious & comfortable with country charm. Breakfast first class. Host very friendly and helpful. I couldn't fault this accommodation and would certainly stay again.

Great Experience in ScotlandIt is a nice accomodation, and quiet surrounding. Find the location is a bit tricky, and can be improve with better signage from the front entrance to the guest house.

Some unusual touches made this a memorable place to stay. I felt that the proprietor had plenty of time for me, without in any way being intrusive. It was a treat to take breakfast looking out over a lovely informal garden. Everything was beautifully cooked, nicely served, with some tasty additions to the usual fare. However, it wasn't fast food, so might be frustrating if you needed to eat and go! Room very pleasant, and well-equipped. I really enjoyed staying there.

Birthday weekendLovely place to spend a couple of days. Weather even cooperated. The walk up Ben Vrackie was quite tough but worth it. Guest house was very pleasant and comfortable. Quite near the A9 but you would hardly realise it.

A little bit out from town but only a casual 20min stroll in. Nice room. Lovely breakfast with views into the beautiful garden. Owners helpful with local information.

Fantastic service and valueStayed here for one night. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and attention to detail is great. Breakfast really good and location is quiet and about 25 mins walk from the centre of Pitlochry. You can risk trying for a taxi, unfortunately ours didn't arrive on the way back so had a nice evening walk in the rain!

Dalshain - a hidden gemWe stayed in Pitlochry to enjoy a weekend away and a night at the Theatre. The welcome, cleanliness, quality of food and general attention to detail made this stand out from the raft of mediocre guest houses. Quite frankly, better value, better run and the breakfast was outstanding. From someone jaded by the \"business hotels\" - they could learn a thing or two from Dalshain. A wonderful old house with character, handy for major transport links and on the right side of Pitclochry for the lowlanders. Deserves to success.

Very impressed with this small hotel. Friendly owners who were very helpful even though I was the only person staying there that night. Would make an effort to go back there if I am passing through again.
