What are your breakfast options?: Breakfast is served in our Tree Frogs Restaurant from 7:00 am - 9:00 am, continental is from $5 - $10 and fully cooked breakfast $10.50.
What transport is available to get around?: There is a bus service from Cairns but this is a really remote area and you would not see much, so car hire is really essential, there are good sealed all weather roads.
What can I do nearby?: The Daintree Rainforest/Cape Tribulation is located in a remote area of Australia and people usually visit to explore the Rainforest (oldest in the world) and the Great Barrier Reef. There are many boat cruises to the reef and on our rivers and there are guided walks through the forest or there are plenty of free board walks. There are no shops but there are a few nice restaurants. The Discovery Centre is only a walk away from our Retreat and it has won many awards. There are also 4WD trips to Cooktown or Bloomfield Falls and a walk with the aboriginal women to the falls. There is Jungle Surfing and an Insect Musuem.
