The D'Entrecasteaux Hotel Hobart was opened in April of 2008 and is one of southern Tasmania’s newest boutique hotels. This property was named after the French explorer Antoine Bruni of Entrecasteaux, the person that originally chartered the channel in the 18th century. Guests staying in this property can dine on delicious meals made with fresh produce from the local farms and fishermen and prepared by a personal chef.
