This hotel was excellent value for money. Our rooms were fabulous, clean and relatively modern however there were a few finer touches that needed to be looked at - sink blocked, kettle not working. Reception were quite good about dealing with this however. At least there was tea/coffee making facilities even if they didn't work. The hot breakfast was not the best but everything else you could want for breakfast was there. Reception provided helpful tips/maps and even looked up our train times for us. As for proximity, the hotel is perfectly situated for the train station but the area generally didn't appear to be safe - lots of people loitering late at night. The hotel was a mere 10 minute walk from the centre and that walk is straight down one of the main shopping streets so was fine by us. I would recommend the hotel largely based on value for money.

Excellent value at this attractive friendly place. My room was wonderful, not perfect though - not enough fruit at breakfast as I'd have liked, and some quite unsavoury characters handing around outside nearby.

This hotel was lovely to stay in - the rooms were large and well decorated. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was substantial. It offered great value for money, and a central location. Beside the main train station, the location was not the safest, but it was convenient for our needs. I would reccommend this hotel.

The hotel is well located, however there was construction around. The staff is nice. The room was clean, but the bathroom always had a funny smell eventhough they cleaned it. Room internet is too expensive.

Hotel is very nice and modern with good facilities. Breakfast very comprehensive too. Check in was rather disappointing as we didn't get told anything about time or location of breakfast etc had to keep asking questions of a rather sullen looking Receptionist. Parking is available in a near-by garage but again, the details and directions were poor. Although the hotel was very pleasant, the area within which it was located was horrible. Both myself and my boyfriend felt unsafe when we ventured out for dinner as the hotel does not offer dinner or room service - and this was in daylight. The area looks and feels like a seedy ghetto. We only stayed over one night so can't comment on the surrounding amenities. Hotel lovely, but area really lets it down and I wouldn't stay there again because of it.

At first the air conditioner, sky tv and internet were not working. I recieved a new room because of the air conditioner where it was working very well, the internet started working after 24 hours and I was not charged for it because of the initial trouble. Sky tv wasn't working for the whole stay (72 hours). The staff was courteous and helpful as much as they could/

Very convenient for main Railway Station and bus from the airport. Immediate area seemed a little seedy but the city and main sights were all within easy walking distance. Friendly and helpful staff and thankfully we were given quiet room at the rear with hill views. Rooms on the front overlooked station rebuild! Buffet breakfast fine.

Very nice and clean hotel. Good value for money for a 4-star hotel. Only 100m from Porta Nuova, but note that to get to the airport you have to catch the bus (just around the corner).Would recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the town center.
