Stayed at the Crystal Inn for my son's graduation at Fort Monmouth. Cannot beat the location and price combo. Appreciated the free internet and breakfast, and its very close to the beach. The pool is also large for a motel and is 9ft deep, which is really rare nowadays. Rooms are simple, clean and what you would expect.

Room was very dirty.

I stayed here over memorial day weekend with my family (husband and 2 kids). The rooms were simple but clean and comfortable and the grounds were kept neat and clean. We loved the pool and bbq and the kids were on the (small) playground for hours. I will definately come back when I visit the shore again. The beach was so close too!

We had a 50th surprise b-day for hubby. We enjoyed having our own gazebo by the pool as well as the grill. Our friends liked it so much that they booked an extra 2 rooms and stayed overnight. The Inn was nice enough to allow us to stay poolside on check out day.

We requested a non-smoking room which we got, but there was cigerette burns on the rug, chair, and the sheets and comforter. I just felt that at least the linens could have been nicer.

We stayed at the Crystal Inn while visiting friends in the area. The staff was very helpful, the room was very comforatble and clean and we appreciated the mini-fridge and the microwave that were in the room. The location was perfect for our trip. We chose this motel because of the price, and felt we got a bargain. We would choose it again.

I checked in at 3PM & check in time is 2 PM. They gave me a room that was not ready and in a smoking section when the reservation was for non smoking. The front desk was rude and unfriendly. My room was changed to a non smoking- that was ready and they apoligized and were rude when I asked how to get to the room. The room could have been cleaner and the bathroom was dusty. The people above me on the second floor were very noisy during the night. Not a quiet place to sleep.

Police were on the premises in multiple cars twice during our stay there. Second time around they knocked on the doors of several neighboring rooms way after midnight. Somebody has stolen my pajama pants from my room -- and no, it's not a bad joke from the Mask movie, it really happened. I will not even mention old broken appliances and unfriendly and sometimes plain rude stuff. So bottom line is stay away from that place.

Needed a room for a night near the racetrack-location. Was given a smoking room that really smelled and I hate smoke but had an early marathon in the morning and it was after midnight and I needed to get some sleep, although I'm sure the overwhelming smoke odor in the room didn't help my racing. Asked for a late check-out and was given a 5 min. lecture and why people shouldn't get those before being refused. Room had refridge and microwave but no coffee pot, coffee or other supplies either (shampoo, etc.). Room a bit run down, towels thin, and one mattress was horrible, but the other was sleepable, thank goodness. Decent enough for a night but certanly nothing fancy with just passable cleaniness, and plan to buy your coffee.

Came into town for a wedding and this was the cheapest I could find in the area. This place is aging and needs refurbishing pretty badly. Everything was old and barely functioning - even the TV needed a bit of jiggling of the cable to get a picture. Nothing really stands out. Perfectly reasonable place if I was still in college, and it seems that you could do worse in the area, but it's far from a business class hotel and is lacking in amenities.

The Crystal Inn was a very comfortable place to spend two nights. The room was perfect with your own microwave and fridge. The help was absolutely terrific from the check in desk to the housekeeper. I will be back since it is so close to work, it made it easier than having to drive all the way home in nasty weather.

We selected this motel to stay at for a wedding because it was close to Red Bank (where the wedding was,) was inexpensive and allowed pets. My biggest complaint was that the room smelt of smoke and pet urine.

The Crystal Inn at Eatontown was very comfortable, The staff was very accomodating and friendly. The use of the computor in the office area was appreciated. Also having the pool near our room was great. We would go there again,

I was very surprised with this hotel. For the low price I thougth I would be walking into a dump. The check in was a breeze, room very clean and the pool sparkling. Close to the beach and the race track
