we chose this location for our honeymoon and wanted a destination neither of us have traveled to in the past. the staff was very friendly and do work better when tipped. we only encountered two staff members who were rude, the rest were extremely nice. you are very pampered and they are very accomodating. there was a distinct difference in the way that we were treated (as americans) and the way the british were treated. it wasn't rude, but a definite difference in mannerism by both staff and other vacationers. we were informed by one member of staff that americans make the them work hard and were obnoxious. the rooms were very clean, air conditioning worked well, you could always find something that you liked on the menu, the beer is nothing special, the wine leaves a bit to be desired, the island drinks will get you were you need to be if you ask for extra rum, and bring an insulated mug to go to the beach or pool to cut down on trips to the bar. bring 'aqua socks' for the ocean it is littered with rocks that will tear your feet up if you are an ocean dweller. the sister hotels nearby are not all inclusive, but the on on the opposite side of the island is. definitely take the included tubing ride.... you will not regret it. take a cab to the resort from the airport, $30-40 US. take advantage of all ammenities.

Not a lot of activities during the day and need to improve on entertainment at night.

I've been to other island and hotels, and by far this was the best vacation I've ever had. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms was clean and well maintained. The staff was wonderful. I enjoyed the beach and the services provided. This was a very classy hotel, I will make this my only choice when visiting Barbados. Barbados is a Beautiflu country. I loved it.

I took my daughter to this resort to celebrate her 30th birthday. It was a quaint little resort tucked away for relaxation and solitude. The bus is outside the front door. The resort provides free shuttle service to Bridgetown. The food was very good but we found the drinks lacking and the bar tenders very unfriendly. The beach is lovely although the last 3 days the water was so rough there were no water activities. The resort itself is very clean but we felt it looked a little tired and needed a face lift. It was a pleasant week and we would definitely revisit this resort.

loved the resort, small and personalized attention. I wish we could have stayed for 2 weeks = great place to relax. We had an ocean front room and spent so much time sucking up the view and the drinks!!!!! Be sure to take the yellow bus into town for the experience. We will be back every year. We loved all the restaurant staff. Even though there was room service throughout the day they need it late night or some kind of snack bar for late nighters! Loved our stay.

This was a great resort with a great location. We honeymooned here in May, and could not have been happier with Crystal Cove. The people were lovely, the food was really terrific, and the water was wonderful. If we ever go back to Barbados (which we hope to), we'll definitely stay here again. We got the ocean view and room and were very pleased with that choice. Make sure to take advantage of the kayaks, and wind surfing that they have on site.

My wife and I just returned from this wonderful island and hotel. The service and staff was awesome. If available, get an ocean view room. The beach was clean and the water was baby blue. Enjoy the water and boating activities they are included. The meals were good and the drinks were great. Going into Bridgetown, Safari Tour, Snorkeling was great. I will definitely be back.

Best vacation we've ever had! Resort was small, so it wasn't as crowded. View, beach, pools and grounds were gorgeous and well maintained. Rooms were clean, staff friendly, and lots of activities right at the resort. Food was ok, restaurants a little slow, but that didn't hurt our over all opinion of the trip. Barbados is a wonderful island and this is a great resort! We'll go back!
