I booked this room as a getaway for my boyfriend and I for the weekend. We stayed sat and sun night. The suite is pretty nice. It had a living room and a bedroom. The bedroom was a little small but comfortable. The living room was bigger than necessary I think and there was no coffee table. The bathroom was clean (which can make or break a hotel for me). We ended up staying in two different suites bc we had intended on only stayinf fri night and checked out but then decided we wanted another day of relaxation and checked in again later that day! The first suite's bathtub had a drain that wa very slow but the second suite's tub was perfect and we had no issues with the drain. the second suite didnt have any towels in it upon check-in so we had to ask for some. those were the only problems we had all wknd. In my opnion though, the hotel is a little over-priced, especially on sunday (which was about a $60 price difference from sat night)

The hotel has an attractive design both from the lobby and in the rooms. No free continental breakfast! It was attractive and felt like we were affording ourselves a luxury, but it didn't feel uptight or condescending. It was easy to relax and enjoy. The staff was nice and helpful. The only weakness we noticed was that it seemed in a few design elements it had over reached a little and would have been better off going doing something simple well rather than something fancy.

Recently renovated hotel was clean, but not a first class experience. Check in went very well with an emphasis placed on advising that the hotel had just gone through a reservation, and how my room would be furnished with luxury amenities such as ear buds, eye mask, etc. Basically the hotel appears to be a former Embassy Suites. However, unlike an Embassy Suites the restaurant and bar in the lobby are strictly pay for play, no happy hour free drinks, appetizers or free breakfast. The room was the typical Living Room, Fridge, desk, sofa setup. It did have a flat screen TV, but the TV would not swivel, so if you were sitting at the desk, you could not watch TV. Although the Sofa had a direct view of the TV, there was no coffee table in front of the sofa to place drinks or snacks on. As far as the renovation, the carpet had patches that had been shaved out, presumably to remove burns or stains. The bathroom had new fixtures and was furnished with upscale shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc. The ceiling had a fresh covering of that rough spackle , but oddly, the flange to the old shower head had not been removed. This left a hole in the ceiling that was surrounded by a partially spackled, rusty shower collar. All in all, the impression was, to coin a political phrase, someone had put lipstick on a pig.

I traveled to Houston for a couple job interviews. I wasn't going to spend a lot of time in the room, but I found that the room was exceptional. The hotel staff was helpful, and I really enjoyed my stay.

We were here for our Kids Summer acation and visiting family in the area. This Hotel far exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely freindly and the property is beautiful. The rooms are really large and we were able to have kids stay in the living room, which had a good size sofa bed. This is the best Hotel to stay in if you are with your family and Kids. The Breakfast Buffet was fabulous and our Kids had a total blast in the pool ! We will be sure to stay at this Hotel on our next trip.

Compared to most hotels, this was top-level in most areas. The staff was tremendous, helpful, and quick. It was a busy trip, and the comfort and cleanliness were very welcome to return to every day. The amenities are great, although dinner food at the restaurant is not the best. All other meals are fine, and there are good restaurants nearby. You cannot beat this place for the price!!

We booked a one night stay just for a fun time away with the kids. Location was easy to get to and the room was wonderful. Staff were very helpful and courteous. We will certainly stay again; best hotel we've stayed in for a long time.

Hotel cleanliness, room was a suite, Convienient. A/C unit was dripping in our room, pool and Spa needs re-plastering. Hotel was very nice, we thought we had a regular room turned out it was a suite, very nice, the bathroom ceiling could use some work(lil mold) and our A/C unit was located on the ceiling and it dripped a little but other than that it was great! Pool & Spa needs to be re plastered but great indoor venue for swimming year round.Close to food, shopping, free parking and you got a little spa kit to take home with you.

I was really impressed. The renovations they did are outstanding. I felt at home the minute I walked in the door and was greeted with smiles from the front desk staff. The atmosphere in the lounge was very relaxing as well. I slept great on the new beds!

I loved the free High Speed Internet and the Free Hot Breakfast Buffet which was quite lavish and had healthy items, which I am very particular about. The rooms were very large and extra comfortable and clean and the staff always went out of thier way to be accomodating. Overall I would recommend this hotel to all business travellers.

Bed was INCREDIBLY comfortable. Pushy room service delivery. I was so pleased as soon as I checked in. Most of the time I book through Priceline. This hotel treated me with respect and helpfulness. The room was so clean and pretty. The bed was gorgeous and comfortable. Soft pillows and fluffy covers. This was one of the top two experiences I've had booking through Priceline.

Overall if you want a large, spacious, modern facility, you can't beat the suites at this Hotel. I really enjoyed the berakfast buffet with my family which was included in my rate. The staff was very freindly and accomodating as well. I have family that lives in the Houston Area and I will be staying at this hotel again.

We bought the raomance package that included a Bottle of Champagne & chocolate dipped strawberries. While the Champagne was the inexpensive kind, the Stawberries were superb. the room was very quite and the manager upgraded us to the Executive Suite which had a Jacuzzi Tub at no extra charge when we told him that I was going to propose to my girl friend. They even had two swans made out of cloth napkins in wine glasses, kissing, next to the strawberries which was a very thoughtful touch. Overall the hotel & staff exceeded my expectations.

Very comfortable beds; friendly staff. Clean. HVAC units & ducts dirty. Staff was very friendly and helpful, even if they did not know everything they should have known. Clean. Super-comfortable beds. Volunteered to give me a more quiet room. Desire to please.

I stayed here as I was attending a conference just a mile away and thought the location and the advertised use of a free shuttle within a 5 mile radius would be perfect. Do not depend on the shuttle for transportation at this hotel. They kept telling me that they did not have a shuttle when I asked but they did have a minivan that they would drive me to my location in, if they could find a person to take me. Maintenance drove me once, a desk person once, and a manager another time. I had to wait over an hour for one of my arranged pick-ups when I was only a mile away. Staff was sometimes rude when I even inquired about getting a ride somewhere. The room was okay though there a number of things broken that were not fixed when I asked. The bathtub faucet had a constant leak which made it hard to sleep, the tv in the bedroom did not work at all, and the phone in the living area did not work either. Overall the stay was a disappointment and I would not stay in this hotel again.
