On thing I don't like is the pool opens late and closes early. Some of the people likes to swim in the evening or early morning. They should have 1 indoor pool or shaded pool at least for people who doesn't want to be in the sun. If they have an indoor pool at least some people could still swim later in the afternoon or evening and it wouldn't be so cold. If they have this amenities at least all the people will enjoy all the time. Sometimes outside weather is very windy and cold such that you don't enjoy swimming but if they have an indoor pool, life in there would not be boring.

Spectacular ocean views. Very nice spacious rooms; beautiful, well cared for grounds. Jacuzzi did not work entire time there; food is average and not all restaurants opened at same time. Able to hear neighbors. My family and I loved the location of this hotel! It's right on the beach and not too far from town. The food is typical hotel food, bland, but there are great restaurants near by. This is a good hotel for families which makes it not so great for couples. It was very annoying to hear kids running around above us and screaming in the hallways early in the morning. Because it's so family friendly, we would probably not stay there again.

The Crowne Plaza Los Cabos Grand Faro was outstanding. Everyone at the front desk were polite and helpful, and the champagne was an added bonus! The service at this hotel was excellent. Room was very comfortable. The hotel was immaculate, and the food was great. If I had one "complaint" it would be that the water in the pools could have been warmer .... but aside from that (not a big deal!) my family and I had a wonderful vacation. We would definitely return to the Crowne Plaza.

What a fabulous resort!! The views are breath taking, we could see the pool and ocean from our room. The location was perfect. The beach was steps from the hotel, it was quiet, and much less congested than the hotels in Cabo San Lucas. The room very very basic, but very clean, and it had a beautiful bathroom. Many options, and fantastic variety and quality of the food. We hated to come home, and will certainly go back!!

Theincredible warm pools! It makes all the difference with the young kids! None. This Hilton property was absolutely FANTASTIC! The food was great but the main factor for us is that the pools were heated to make it incredibly comfortable to swim in. The kids didn't want to leave! They also have a great kids club- paintings, tie-dye shirts, etc.

From the time you check in,you wait 30 min and when they finally raise thier head to acknowledge you,you feel as if you are bothering them. Don't even waste your time to complain to the Mgr Mrs X because you will get no results. When I booked my trip this hotel advertised a partial view of the ocean, the only view from room 2109 is another hotel that blocks any view to the ocean.Bringing this up to the Mgr was a complete waste of time, they want to bait and switch you to another room at an additional charge. When you turn on the TV the hotel advertises a mariaci band at their resturant,I asked my waiter about the band he replies, the resturant has been open for 1 year and tourist have asked that same question and there has never been mariachis at this resturant. They advertise 5 resturants,O K the mexican resturant and the italian resturant alternate and is open every other day.You have to reserve a time slot and its limited. The other resturants serve the same food day in and day out,the food is OK at best.If you go to Cabo,go to cabo san lucas all the shops are there and hotels with much nicer staff and beaches.DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE THAT I DID AND STAY AT THIS HOTEL,YOU GO ON VACATION TO RELAX,NOT TO LET A HOTEL STRESS YOU OUT!!!

Overall it was a good trip. Only bad thing was that we had a late check in so we had to stay in the double room until the next day. We were able to move to a king but had to waste half a day trying to get that done. Also, there were no bathtubs (all they had were showers) in the room which was a disappointment as we wanted to relax in the tub.

The staff seems rather lazy - they did accommodate our request for a king vs. 2 double beds but after that it went downhill. When we went to the lobby to ask questions, it was like we were bothering them. Some spoke excellent english...others, you struggled to understand. We had a room credit because of our booking special. However, they found excuses not to honor part of the credit leaving us very frustrated!! The food was very plain. Because we were there in the off season we didn't have as many choices. All the menus were the same. There wasn't much flavor to be found. The bartender at the pool was the best part of the whole resort! It was quiet and relaxing.

We arrived early and our room was ready for check in. The resort was very clean, well maintained & was right on the sea. We were concerned that our partial ocean view room wouldn't have a very good view, but we were happily surprised that we had an awesome view! One down-side is that housekeeping sometimes did not come until very late in the afternoon, so don't expect your room to be made after you return from breakfast, or even lunch. There are several dining options from the buffets to the Italian & Mexican restaurants. We highly recommend the restaurants for dinner. You have to make a reservation, but you can do that for each evening with the concierge on the first day of your trip. The staff was very friendly, but left you alone if you did not want to participate in pool activities or the like. There is a lot to do if you want, or nothing to do if you don't want. (My husband & I just relaxed by the pool, enjoyed the cocktails & an occassional stroll down the beach). If you like activities, right on the beach you could rent wave-runners, get a horseback ride, play beach volleyball,or get a massage. We have been to Cancun, Cozumel & on numerous cruises..this was our first trip to Cabo and had one of our best trips ever!

Crowne Pl,aza Los Cabos was great!! My husband and I had a fabulous time. We spent our time in the awesome pool overlooking the ocean and enjoyed excellent bar service by the friendly staff . The room was clean, mini-bar well stocked and we had an awesome view of the pool and ocean. Their entire staff treated us very well and provided excellent service our entire stay. We will definitely be back! The only suggestion would be for them to provide shuttle service into Cabo.

The only concern we had was that the floor tile looked very clean, but was dirty . . . as evidenced when we walked into the shower. Would and do plan to go back again and again!!

My family just returned from the Crowne Plaza. I know there were some negative reviews on this site and I was concerned. I was happy to find that check in was speedy and pleasant. The room was clean, mini-bar well stocked and had an awesome view of the pool and ocean. The pool was great with lots of chairs available. The variety of food was fantastic, especially the fish. I wouldn't waste my time eating in the restaurants that require reservations, the others are very good and have many healthly choices. Overall, the service was GREAT (perhaps because we went during a period considered "off season"). We had one small problem with our room key that was resolved immediately to our satisfaction. I would highly recommend the Crowne for a nice, relaxing, family vacation.

Me and my sister stayed her for about 5 days. I was great. the food was good but the restuarants that you had to make reservations for were not worth it. The service was also excellent all the servers and worker were nice and helpful and could speak english well. the only bad thing was that the beach was public so alot of venders would hassel you to buy jewlery while you were trying to relax and who brings money to the beach? other than that we had so much fun we didnt want to leave. I would not recommend traveling with online travel because they did not give me and my sister gaureetee you a sit on the plane. It was kind of like standby. me and my sister never sat together.

The facilities are beautiful, kept extremely clean, basic rooms without any frills. Staff was helpful, didn't know much English! Management was TERRIBLE! They were unhelpful, always saying I needed to talk to someone else but wouldn't help me find that person. We had 2 rooms, only one was ready when we checked in at 3 p.m., it took 3 hours to get the other. We had items turn up missing and when we repeatedly requested to have a look in the lost and found all they would do is take our room number and say they would call us, never heard back once. Food was average, leftovers where used in casseroles, main dishes, and salads the next day. The best food was the pool bar where they serve hamburgers, fries, and tortilla chips everyday! Towels are provided for the pool but there is a "system." When you check in you are given cards for everyone in your party. You turn this card in by the pool to recieve a towel. After, you either turn in your towel to get a card back. All transactions are recorded on paper along with your room number. The problems start when: if all cards aren't turned in at check out you will be charged $40 per missing card, the attendents cannot speak English so room numbers are not accurate, housekeeping takes the towels out of the rooms when cleaning, people just pick up towels if they misplace theirs! It was a hassle that seemed unneeded considering the high price of the "luxury" resort. They also allow Spring Break kids, we were surrounded by drunk 18 year olds who were noisy until 4 a.m., my children got quite an education. We have travelled extensively and would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel size is about right. Staff is helpful when you need. Room is comfortable. I love the food over there with good quality and option for choice. The shortage is not much activity around the hotel and can not swim in the beach.

While the location was lovely (by virtue of the City and ocean, not necessarily the hotel) the experience overall is one that I advise against. From problems with transportation that was supposed to be arranged by guest services, to multiple mistakes and problems with room reservations, to a pool truly too cold to use, to food that was bad (my kids lived on watermelon and little more for 4 days). Staff was friendly and helpful but managers were difficult to locate and little help when contacted. We sat at the activities desk seeking to make a reservation for over 30 minutes with at least 5 staff watching INCLUDING the manager of guest services, none of whom would help us or explain who we needed to talk to other than to say "She must be in the toilet." There are many beautiful hotels in the area, I would suggest visiting a different one.

The Crowne Plaza Los Cabos met all our needs and then some. Gorgeous views. Clean amenities. Spacious room. Delicious buffets. Friendly staff. They even combed the beach every morning! We had some problems with check in and had to have our rooms keys updated almost daily because they would stop working. Setting these minor road bumps aside, the Crowne Plaza has something for everyone! We enjoyed the quietness San Jose Del Cabo had to offer and the Crowne Plaza was in the perfect location. Yet, we could walk 45 minutes up the beach and meet with friends and take the public bus into Cabo San Lucas to the Marina. We definately plan on returning and encourage everyone to check out this hotel - a lot of value for a 5 star all inclusive!

Absolute worst service ever! They screwed up our rooms, cheated us out of our money, lied about costs of cabs, and there was no interest in resolving any problems. The rooms were not comfortable. The pool was ice cold, and the hot tub didn't work. Food was generic and tasteless. Not family friendly at all....Cabo is beautiful, just stay somewhere else!
