The hotel was very nice and clean. The service was amazing, very friendly staff. The location was amazing the hotel was in the center of everything the island offers. Great vacation would stay again. Orbitz made the process easy and enjoyable.

Restaurant manager was nice. Hamburgers at poolside grill were good. Staff unfriendly, room dirty and not in working order, toilet, TV, internet. This hotel was a favorite of mine until this stay. We stayed in a different area of the hotel and it was dirty and noisy. As soon as we got to the room we had to call for a working remote, and an Ethernet cable. The room had some red drink splashed all over the wall by the bed and on the carpet. Wasn't cleaned while we were there, either. It stood out against the yellow, housekeeping clearly was not interested in cleaning it. Housekeeping throws used linens out into hallway and they stay there for hours. Greenery is well planned, but it's just not kept up the way it should be. Lack of love and cleaning are apparent all over the resort. Maybe I am sounding too harsh, but I did expect better. The hallways are air conditioned now - they used to be terribly hot. Gift shop attendant follows your every move like you are going to steal something - very uncomfortable feeling. No greeting, but they literally follow you about the shop.

We stayed at this hotel because it was the location of a tennis tournament that my son and I attended. We also got a great deal on the online travel website, better that anyone else that we spoke with! The grounds were amazing and the staff and the food at the hotel dinning room were very good. The sales clerks in the gift shop were also very nice. The only downside was the staff at the front desk when we arrived were not very friendly and the hotel was pretty empty and the room that we recieved had a view of the roof and air conditioning unit. It would have been nice to have been offered a room with a better view for a 4 day stay. I'm sure we will return again next year.

My husband and I stayed here for a night and loved it! We really thought that the kids would have enjoyed it too! There seems to be a lot for everyone to do but the beach is fabulous! It is private and secluded and fabulous. Our room looked out over the ocean and it was breath-taking! Because we are DVC members we will not be bringing the kids back but I would love to go back again! Very nice staff, clean hotel! Would highly recommend this hotel!

When we arrived and went to our room we noticed that we had no view. I called the front desk which said they were totally booked and was sorry they could not accomidate our request. A minute later the front desk called back and moved us to a beautiful garden/pool view with a large balcony. We were very appreciative. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. I would stay here again.

Beautiful garden area. One can hear guests in other rooms clearly. Wonderful overall experience.

We upgraded to the presidential suite and I was really disappointed by the lack of cleaning that was done to the room. I had to request cleaning supplies from housekeeping to do the bathroom. We were also very upset because we received a call from the frontdesk at 2100 requesting that my handicapped husband move our van for someone in a wheelchair. On the positve side, the food at the resturant was excellent and the grounds were really beautiful. I would only give this hotel a rating of 3.

The best things about this hotel were the courteous staff and it's location. The food was expensive and not all that great. We did not try the seafood buffet, but it looked good. But if you're looking to relax, enjoy the beach and the many other activities in the area and are willing to drive a little to other restaurants, this is a great place to stay.

My wife and I spent our anniversary at this resort. We thought that the location was absolutely beautiful and close to pretty much anything you could want to do on Hilton Head Island. We are planning to go back next year.

I liked the woodsy atmosphere of the hotel, the walk to and from the beach. There were no queen size beds only doubles. The mattresses were too firm and the room was much smaller than I thought it would be. The Crowne Plaza hotel couldn't be better situated. The pool is large with plenty of reclining chairs and towels are provided. For the price I paid on Priceline, the experience met my expectations. However, if I were paying full price for the stay, I would have been disappointed with the lack of AC in the lobby and elevators and the size of the rooms. All in all, we had a wonderful time and the experience there was definitely good.

It was a good hotel, The room was clean enough and the staff where very friendly. It is also in a nice place. The hotel was not very easy to find. Hilton Head in general is not a good place find anything in the night. Try to make it to the hotel before sun down.

Enjoyed the location and the beach. Pool was nice too. We would have liked a screen on the patio door.

We were greeted by rude front desk staff who didn't have our room ready and gave us keys that didn't work- BAD first impression. There was mildew in the bath and stains on the toilet & floor. The room decor needs some serious updating. Our view was of a tree and a bike rack. The pool area was used more by families than couples. The beach access was great and the location was perfect- very close to the better restaurants in the area. The seafood buffet in the hotel's restaurant was fantastic!

Very satisfied except for the fact that we were offered a view of the pool area for an additional 20.00/per night and the there was no view. Two 2 huge oak trees blocked any view. I bought it to the attention of the hotel clerk and she indicated in the map that the room was considered room with a view. Second dissapointment was that the beds were full size, not comfortable enough for two people.

Lobby area was extremely hot and humid. Rooms were large but very run down needed updating. Overall staff was friendly and I would stay there again through Priceline rates.

This resort is primarily for families- not couples. The rooms need updating and cleaning. The ""live entertainment"" is a cheesy guy on guitar by the pool. NOT worth the Priority Club points I saved up for this 2 day vacation. The up side is the Seafood Buffet, it's great!

The beach is great. The lobby is very loud and echos up to the rooms above. The overall stay was great.I have stayed at this hotel before but completely forgot to ask for a room far away from the open lobby area. Very loud from early morning until late at night.

Enjoyed the easy access to the beach and a quiet location. The hotel had several amenities that I did not take advantage of, but having the options is a benefit. Relaxing and restful weekend. The staff was friendly and accomodating.
