The hotel's location to historic sites was good, but I found the room to be dingy. The comforters on the bed were old - one had a rip in it and the other looked like it had a stain on it. This is a hotel in much need of updating.

Very nice and elegant for the price. Clean swimmingpools. The TV did not work. The cable on the wall needed to be replace. We hd to change rooms. I wished they had offer the Microwave I requested for free.

Would not stay here again, the rooms are noisy if in wrong wing of the hotel (train tracks, busy road) staff attitude was poor at best. I had a concern the first night and that warranted speaking with a manager and he acted like he could care less. All in all for the money spent for the name you can save yourself some dough and do much better at the same time.

I was very pleased with the hotel. Staff was overly friendly, They should take some better pictures because this hotel is much nicer than it appears. The only down sides were the small bathrooms and they mustve been in an airplane when they photographed the pool because its much smaller than it looks in the picture. I would def. stay again!

We were suppose to have a King Size Bed and instead we had two queens. The towels did not look clean or smell clean. They had a sign that read "Reuse towels to save water and I told the person at the desk that I don't reuse my towels at home. We were not really happy with the room and don't know if we would stay there ever again.

Good price, nice indoor pool! Staff could have been a little friendlier, and breakfast would have been nice! Overall, we had a great experience. The price we got on Priceline was great and it was nice to have a hotel with an indoor pool!

Our stay at the hotel was good . Our room was very clean. Service was good. Also the food at the restaurant was good. We were minutes from many of the local attractions. We will be back again on our next visit.

We loved it here and wish we could have stayed longer. It was a short drive to Busch gardens and a short drive to Colonial Williamsburg. It was the site of the original Fort Magruder, and the hotel did a good job of preserving the mound where they fought the battle. It was an unbelievable feeling to be standing on the very spot where a battle was fought! Artifacts from the battle were on display inside the hotel lobby (cool). There was a free internet connection and two pools, one inside and one outside. We enjoyed the bar downstairs and loved sneaking out after the kids went to sleep for a drink and some adult time. There is a restaurant right there in the hotel, but there are also two pancake houses within walking distance that beckoned to us. They were both good. The room was clean and spacious and had a little refrigerator in the room, and the staff was excellent. I would stay here again in a minute, it was a real find.

This was a great hotel. The lady at the front dest was most accomodating. The rooms were clean and housekeeping was efficient and friendly. My daughter loved the pool and the fitness room, and the grounds were beautiful. There are some repairs going on currently, but the crews were polite, out of the way, and this didn't hinder out stay one bit. My worst comment could only be the elevators were muggy.

Restaurant staff was wonderful/helpful. Hotel staff seemed very efficient in handling the many large groups that were in and out during our stay. Very happy with this hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were nice and spacious but the bathrooms were small. Clean quite rooms, noticed very little noise even thought the hotel had no or very few vacancies left. Hotel still going thru some renovations appears to be mostly completed. I would definetly stay here again, staff very friendly and helpful. Nice lounge and dining facilities, pool and jacuzzi area very clean with towels provided. The only negative statement I can make is sunday morning the elevator floor needed vacumed from all the traffic saturday night which wasn't done until later in the day Sunday.

I was traveling with my boys and puppy, and this hotel was a hit with everyone. The boys LOVED the pool (which we hit every night) and I loved the convenience of being able to take the puppy outside near our room. The room was comfortable and clean, with a small fridge. As I was a feeling a bit under the weather, I really appreciated being able to order room service for the boys dinner. Overall, a great experience!

Hotel lobby under construction (nothing on Travel website let us know this...we would have booked elsewhere based on this alone.) We wanted a non-smoking room, but ended up with heavy smokers next door (strong smoke smell came into our room for the duration of our stay). We complained every day of our trip...without any action from the hotel. On our second day, we actually had to have the front desk find a housekeeper to clean the room, as they apparently forgot to do it (it was around 5pm and the housekeepers were packing up to go home). Hotel restaurant took our food orders, and only 20 minutes after placing our order let us know that they were 'out' of one of the meals. When I spoke to the manager about our stay, he didn't seem to care, so I'll likely write corporate next to discuss. Review states walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg...it's actually about a mile away. Next time, I'll be staying elsewhere.

Very good location if you are visiting Busch Gardens. Close to Colonial Williamsburg too. The room was clean and comfortable. There were not many dining options near by. You either had the option of going to the fast food places close to Busch Gardens or go into town. Everythign great about the room except real tiny bathroom. But Clean and comfortable. The dream machine CD player was a nice addition.

Bedroom and sink area were nice - grounds were lovely. The room was incredibly humid, even with A/C running - strange! The hotel and room were perfect for us. Unfortunately, there were many very large groups of school children running all up and down the halls, yelling, banging on doors, and generally just making lots of noise late into the night and extremely early in the morning (5:30 a.m.!). We realize this is a popular area to bring school tours, but we'd hoped this hotel was at a star-level that would mean those tour groups would not be staying there. We wished there was a bathroom fan we could have turned on to help drown out the noise.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel was quite comfortable. The bath/toilet combo was a bit cramped but there was nice water pressure for the shower and comfy sized towels. They provided some nice sleep-aids like a clip to keep the drapes securely closed and a sleep CD that I thought was a nice touch. I enjoyed the pool each day of my stay and found the temperature of the pool and hot tub to be about perfect. This was October so I'm talking about the indoor pool. It was conveniently located to Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William and Mary.
