We were attending the theatre at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. The Crowne Plaza hotel was referenced as a landmark since they are next door to each other. The hotel is in the middle of a remodel. Due to the construction, the restaurants were closed and they used a ballroom as a temporary restaurant. It was also confusing to find other amenities such as the pool, work out facilities, etc. since there were very few employees to be found. The lobby and rooms are very nicely furnished, and money HAS been spent on making this hotel nice. The problem is in the personel. There just isn't any. The few employees you find do not like their jobs and are not customer service oriented. There was spoiled food underneath one of the beds and housekeeping laughed when we complained about it and asked them to clean it up. We had to wait 3 1/2 hours for room service to be delivered. A manager later comp'd this lunch, and sent us coupons for a continental breakfast in the morning. When we called to order this breakfast, we were told it was a buffet and could not be ordered to the room. We ordered from the breakfast menu instead and it actually arrived in a timely manner. The food trays (at both meals) were handed to us at the door of the room with the check on top. There was no table to place the tray on, so you had to eat on the bed or at the desk - which only had one chair. Valet was almost impossible to access. There wasn't ever someone there, and you had to contact the hotel's manager on duty to radio for someone to come down to the valet area, and THEN wait for your car. The only manager we ever actually saw was in a chef's coat, so I'm assuming he was a kitchen manager. Each time we brought up a concern, he turned it around and told us about a similiar problem he was having in his personal life. I don't mean to sound rude, but I don't care about this man's personal life, I just wanted to have a nice weekend in Tulsa to go to the theatre. Next time, we'll just have some coffee

Very nicely decorated. Very beautiful decorating scheme and the beds were actually comfortable and so were the pillows!

This was my second stay at this hotel and I really enjoyed it. The last time the hotel was undergoing a renovation that was well worth the wait. The lobby is beautiful. The entire facility was extremly clean and contemporary. The housekeeping staff was wonderful. The valet service could be better, I had to explan to the valet that I needed our car brought all the way to the door in the rain. He kept putting our car parelle to the canopy but not under it and telling me it was easier for him. Missing the point that valet is supposed to be easier for me. The televisions in the room couldl be updated to flat panels that would be and improvement. The microwave and mini=frig were a valuable asset to the rooms that has been removed They could have a more family friendly restaurant or other space available since they are in Tulsa, OK and there is not really alot in walking distance or to entertain a family. The rooms are by no means sound proof, we could hear the people next door clearly when ever they talked, we could hear the elevator, and anyone that was in the hallway which was a little annoying but because the guest exercised restraint it was bearable. For the price of the stay they business center usage should be complementary, instead it is $7.50 to start, and $.50 after the first 15 minutes.

Location and feel of room. Paying for parking. We love to stay at the Crowne Plaza each time we visit Tulsa.

When we checked in our room, there were ear plugs on the nightstand. As downtown Tulsa in not full of nightlife, we could not imagine why we needed ear plugs. After 2 nights of listening to train whistles, I now understand. Bring your own plugs, as these did not do the job! The hotel itself is fine. The lobby is recently renovated and modern. Our room was also recently renovated and well furnished. We did have some drinks and appetizers at the hotel bar one night - both were good, but the drinks were ridiculously overpriced.

Considering the construction, the bar/restaurant being closed & the hallways odor of wet paint ...it wasn't bad. The free shuttle to airport was very nice and the clean rooms are both reasons I'll be back.

I loved everything in my room and covered parking. Having a Starbucks in the hotel was awesome &I could phone my order and have it ready to go. Parking cost $8 a night. The staff at Starbucks were unprepared both morningsI was there. Not a lot of TV channels and had bad reception on a few.

The renovations have really ramped this place up on my list. I am very impressed with the investment they have made. Only semi-downside was the pool was being replaced so I had to go to the YWCA for my swim but met some great people there and ended up going to dinner with them. My experience started great with Cherie checking me with a great smile and sparkle that made my think, "She is really happy I am staying here" and Lori did a great job with all our special requests - she on the spot accomodating our traveling actor troupe - which you can appreciate are very demanding! Great job all - keep up the great work!

I took my sister to Tulsa for her birthday. We had a blast even though our hotel was less than inviting. Lots of road construction downtown made it difficult to reach. They will tell you they contract with the YMCA if you would like to swim.....! That night to avoid the road construction we decided to eat at the hotel. It was buffet style. We waited 30 minutes for them to place more plates out, food was over heated and had been out too long! The hostess commented loudly that the chocolate cake was REALLY good then announced she was going to have a piece for herself. She then made off with a piece and we didn't see her again. Earlier she had filled our water glasses w/ ice, spilled ice all over the table and scrapped it off on the floor. When we got the bill it was 15.00! For warm wilted lettuce from a bag, some mashed potatoes, and ice water. We should have took our chances with the road construction. The room doors were horribly dirty. I thought we might die in the ricketty elevators. However the manager was very nice when we were asking for directions. My sister and I laughed and joked about everything and made it a good weekend despite the poor hotel quality~

"Enjoyed our stay very much. Hotel is very nice, but has many minor problems that need to be attended to...a bad bleach spot on the hall carpet, loose pieces on furniture, caulking needed in bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Food was great. Would stay there again, especially during theatre production at PAC next door."

It was a very elegant hotel and very large. There was a Starbucks on site which was a big bonus. It would have been nice to have a a refrigerator and microwave in the room.

Very stylish reception area, recently renovated. Pillows were too soft. Great value for money hotel. We got a room near the elevators which was a bit noisy as they started up around 4 am. Beautiful main areas. Didn't check out the pool area.

The amenities and the hotel staff were excellent. I didn't like housekeeping not coming at a timely fashion. I never knew what time they would be coming andI had two days without housekeeping service. I loved the hotel and if I ever go back to Tulsa I would stay at the Crown Plaza. Services and amenities were excellent. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends.
