Clean attractively decorated room with good view. Iron was broken, bathroom tub faucet/plug broken. Wasn't as close to our destination (Vatican), but made it work anyway with public bus transportation.

We choose a superior room because of two adults and one child. This provided us with two double beds. The room was as big as in the States with a very nice bathroom and a porch out the siding glass doors. The staff was very helpful. The hotel is not close to all the sites which are on the other side of the river. Also, it is not within walking distance of the Vatican. The bus and Metro are easy to use. (The Vatican is three stops away using the Metro, then you have to walk to the Vatican.) At night there is no where to walk because of the location. Taking a cab costs around 15 euros to the other side of the river where the main sites are found. We did not use the hotel shuttle because it ran at certain times. Also, don't depend on taking the shuttle from the airport. It runs at a specific time in the morning. However, we were told the taxi cabs in Rome are only allowed to charge 40 Euros for a trip from the airport to the hotel.

Cleanliness, lots of amenities and comfortable. Not near major sightseeing attractions. Name of hotel was misleading. Not near major sightseeing attractions.

The summary of this hotel states that they have free shuttle service to the airport. That is only partially true. They have one shuttle a day leaving the Hotel at 7:15 a.m. and arriving at 8:00 a.m. If your flight arrangements are earlier than that time or much later in the day you must take a Taxi at your expense 40-50 euros.

Right at airport but rooms were very quiet. The restaurants were very expensive for breakfast and dinner buffets.

Nice room, great pool. Too far from tourist sites. Nice room, with two double beds in each room. Beautiful pool. Free bus into town and to airport. Long way from tourist sites. Hotel bar and restaurant were overpriced.

We stayed there for one night before our cruise and we spend our time visiting Rome, the Hotel is not too far from Vatican city by taxi it costs us $8 Euro including tip and 13 Euro from the Rome Colisseum. It is not in the old portion of the city but at least you have a decent pool and the hotel is OK, regular Crowne Plaza standard.

Excellent, pool & Gym. The "Spa" was closed for renovations. I was very disappointed. Both the indoor pool was closed and the spa was closed for renovations.

The room was wonderful! It was clean and comfortable and large! The reception desk was very nice and helpful! We only used the outdoor Pools (since we had our kids with us and they aren't allowed in the indoor spa/pool) and they were nice, but close at 8. Restaurants were too expensive for us, so as you exit hotel, turn right and eat at Arturos (closed Mon.) It was good food (especially the pizza) and reasonadly priced! Also, free shuttle to/from the hotel was WONDERFUL! While waiting for return shuttle, try the pizzeria at the end of the street across from Area Sacra -cheap and delicious! It is so easy to take a bus too! Bus 889 or 98 from the bus stop right outside hotel before Arturos on same side of street as hotel! Take that to Vatican! Then walk 2 blocks up to the bus stop (right before tunnel) for bus 64 which takes you to many different stops in Rome! Great hotel - More for your money and only 15 min. outside the city!

Friendly, helpful staff and big room. Nothing. I found the staff to be very kind and helpful. The room was big for Rome, which was a bonus! There was a bus stop right outside the hotel very easy to get in and out of city central. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

This is the third Crown Plaza facilities I have stayed in. The rooms are much smaller than the other two facilities (Albany, NY and Evansville, IN, USA), especially the bathroom. The restaurants, however, were much better, though. Overall, however, I found the accommodations very similar. The business center never opened, and the internet on the TV was not working either. My biggest concern was with the transportation. I have never stayed at a hotel where the courtesy airport bus service only ran once per day. This basically meant for customers arriving at the airport after 0715 and departing after 1130 are forced to incur additional expense to and from the airport. If it were not for this one issue, my stay at Crown Plaza-St. Peters would have been excellent.

It was clean and had a selection of English television. Restaurant selection. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Although the hotel was not close to the main Roman attractions, the shuttle service was very convenient. I would recommend this hotel and stay there again.

Hotel had many American-style amenities (large room and bathroom, flat screen TV with satellite). It was a great place to spend our last night in Rome - the shuttle bus from the town center was easy to catch to take out to the hotel. Note that the hotel is not within walking distance to any of the major sites, but there are many city buses that you can catch practically at the hotel entrance. There is also a free shuttle bus to the FCO airport - it only makes one trip in the morning, but it was very convenient!

The rooms were spacious, well decorated and comfortable. The walls were thin - heard a baby crying next door. Excellent hotel. Very happy with the service at the front desk and with the amenities. Our room was a Superior King, and it was very spacious and had great decor. The washroom was also large and very clean. Loved the balcony and the view of the pool. Only thing I didn't like was the location. A little out of the way. By the second trip into Rome central, however, we had the bus and subway system figured out and it was easier to get to and from the hotel.

The hotel is nice. However, we booked a king room and got doubles. We were put on a floor that was undergoing renovation. It had bare drywall, stripped walls and was very dirty. The fitness facility and pool were great. The staff was nice, but could not honor their reservation. I would stay there again, as the renovation will most likely be complete, and the rooms were nice.

The hotel was all I expected it to be and the indoor pool and spa were great, especially after a long day of sightseeing! The fact that the wireless connections were so expensive. The hotel was bright and staff were all friendly and helpful, especially due to the fact that I did no speak any Italian. They helped us find connections to were we wanted to go for the day. The indoor pool and spa were very relaxing at the end of a long day of sightseeing!

We went to Rome last week to celebrate our 22 years wedding anniversary. We decided to stay at the Crowne Plaza because we had a very good experienced when we went to Canada and Hongkong. The Hotel is very clean. The front desk are very friendly and very helpful. The ladies at the front desk help us how to go around the city and they are very good and very sweet. Our room is big and very clean. We loved it. Their are two restaurant downstairs and transportation to the city is just outside the hotel.
