Some of our neighbors are IBM, Chemtura, Boehringer-Ingelheim, Timex, Waterbury Hospital, St. Mary's Hospital and Oxford Airport. The Crowne Plaza Hotel In Southbury CT. was clean, comfortable (especially the beds), and easily accessible from the interstate, without being so close that it was noisy. Although we did not use the pool this trip, we have previously and it is fine. This was the first time we ate onsite, having breakfast both days, once off the menu and once the buffet. Both were good value and the waitstaff on the second day went out of their way to serve us at our table with fresh french toast when the buffet supply had run out. We will stay there again when visiting family in the area- very convenient.

The front desk staff was very courteous and friendly when we arrived. The hotel was very clean and open. Our room was suprisingly spacious and well appointed. The bath products were great, and room service was prompt. Our bed was slightly disappointing - just too hard to have great rest. But overall our experience was terrific. Very easy location to get to also.

I would not stay here again, there were renevations taking place, to get to the gym was an obstacle course. The highway was very noisy and staff were not attentive.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Southbury was a decent place. The room was quite comfortable, as was the clenliness. I was very dissatisfied with the pool area-very small, dirty pool, cold-both pool and jacuzzi and extremely small. For the look of the hotel, I would have expected this to be much better.

Easy off the road, friendly staff. Great for an overnight. Very nice for a short stay. Clean, nice staff easy access off 84 on our way to New Hamshire. Comfortable bed.

Room size was large. High noise level from outside air handling equipment. Room size was large. Good amenities. Only issue was the relatively high noise level from the air handling equipment outside the room window. Staff was friendly, offered to take bags to room.

Decent quality, complimentary shampoo and conditioner. Sparse room, small television, over chlorinated pool, rough pool towels. Convenient off of I-84 - with a scenic view of the local mobile station. Our room had a comfortable bed and clean facilities, but a very loud air conditioner. The night we stayed over the police stopped by to handle a disturbance - too much fun for some of the locals who had their wedding at one of the many banquet halls. Though the staff was slightly over burdened, they did manage a smile.

It was clean, my number one pet peeve! Had a pleasant enough atmosphere. Nothing near by the hotel. Restaurant food was disappointing. The heating system in my room was loud! Over all this was a pleasant place to stay. The room was nice, the bed comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size. The restaurant meal was not very good and the heating system in my room was a bit too loud. But mostly this was a satisfactory experience.

The location to the highway. No hot water. Swimming pool was closed. Only warm water again. More than a month since I stayed there and they have the same problem!

Large, comfortable room and a very comfortable bed with pillows. Room service breakfast was excellent and served when promised. Only thing missing was a refrigerator in the room.

The lobby was very attractive. The room was quite average, nothing distinctive. The hotel is very ugly from the outside. The lobby was very nice looking and the location, though not central, was easy to find. The front desk staff was not very nice.

The staff put me in a room on the 3rd floor that was a normal, decent, clean room with working heater. Convenient and clean. Bar area was too bright, with one overworked bartender and a limited selection.

Loved everything. This was our 2nd trip back to the Crowne Plaza in Southbury, CT. It's an absolutely wonderful hotel with great people. Directions to Crowne Plaza extremely easy (we came from Long Island). All the class you'd expect from a great hotel. Define will recommend to everyone. Just perfect for a little weekend trip.

Convenient location and level of cleanliness. Single serving coffee packet in the room instead of a 4-cup packet. The hotel's location served us well. The staff was friendly. Less noise than at other hotels.

It has been recently renovated. The breakfast offering was weak. We were in a room without AC ventilation due to a malfunction. As it was late we did not call the desk but it was very uncomfortable. When we mentioned it in the morning, at check-out, we felt less than comforted by the response. Rooms should be checked prior to service as this has happened to us before in this particular Hotel.
