Great location. Really good value through laterooms. good rooms, good facilities included. The hotel did get confused and tell us breakfast was included in our deal, when it wasn't. Even though we asked them to check again.however, they honoured this when it came to check out. good customer service. Really nice, well designed hotel.

I loved the bedside lighting with reading light. Nothing. It met our needs and was conveniently located and very comfortable. We'll stay there again.

Nice looking Hotel - shame about the details.......Were surprised to find that the mini bar in room was empty -we had to order what drinks we required Also only one bath towel in room apparently you have to ask should you require another one - would have thought 2 should have been in a double roomWould have rather paid more for breakfast than £5.00 tray charge

Location by the river. They did not have a plug adaptor for US plugs.

This hotel is a pleasant surprise as it doesn’t look too exciting from the outside but is very nice once you’re past the bland exterior. It is as good as any other plaza i have stayed at and I would recommend it. I didn’t eat there as the Standard Tandoori Nepal Restaurant is within walking distance and is superb!

weekend stayWe stayed for a weekend and found this hotel to be excellent value for money. Its red brick boring exterior actually does not do it any favours. Inside it was very nice, bar area was very comfortable and opens out to the river. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on the food. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. The room was very comfortable. We paid the basic price and found it very good for the price. Its very well positioned for Reading town without being too close. About a ten minute walk. I would definately stay there again.

The hotel staff were very ameniable when I quesioned my room they did their best to make my valentines day stay as smooth as possible. They were friendly and their general attitude good. The hotel was very good value for money - it seemed a lot classier than the price suggested - and although I would say the food and drinks were overpriced, the feel of the hotel as a whole impressed me. If you ate out, as I did, this wouldn't be a problem. The 'riverside terrace' isn't great, however the Revive Spa was absolutely fantastic and I would recommend the hotel to anyone just for this! (The changing rooms were especially nice)The room was very clean, well desgined and the beds were extremely comfortable. The lighting was lovely and the bathroom well kept with a powerful shower and good complimentary facilities. Overall the hotel impressed me more than I thought it would and it definately proved itself as a very classy yet affordable hotel...if you considered to eat elsewhere due to the price of the food. A very enjoyable stay!

booking in was great allocated a room on 1st floor, what they did not mention was that there was a function on that evening and the room that they had alllocated us was directly over the function room, not very happy when we telephoned reception I was asked 'did they not tell you that we had a function on this evening NO was the reply, we were then allocated another room bearing in mind this was 11pm. The new room seemed OK until approx 2pm when next door returned and were very noisy for about 1 hour. The evening meal was disgusting what was listed as minced steak with bacon and cheese with goose fat chips came as a beef burger on a bun with chips and at £12.50 I think that this was an expensive burger!!!!
