Very cental location, everything within walking distance. Subsidised parking attached to the hotel. Rooms small but clean and comfortable. A good base to explore Nottingham from.

ImpressedOverall this was a pleasant stay, however, the room was 'stuffy' despite having air conditioning. It wouldn't seem to get quite cool enough to compensate for the very warm weather.

This hotel was very clean (bathroom excellent - shower curtain was being washed when we arrived). Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would definately stay again.

We stayed there for a long weekend and previous reviews seemed about right really. Walls thin and could hear the people next door swearing, breaking wind etc. No way was this constant or even prolonged. But it could have been bad if those next door had been perhaps more boisterous. The room was certainly quite small compared to a travelodge type establishment and we only had one socket free to use and that was just above the skirting board, which ment that the kettle had to be on the floor when boiling. The food in the restaurant was passable, but a family near us complained to the waitress about everything?There did not seem to be many people staying there, which may indicate something? On reflection, if I had to I would stay there again. But, would prefer to look for an alternative.

nice hotelExcellent hotel close to the theatre and nice facilities. The room however was located on a lower floor and was a little poky. Also very dark as the view was completely blocked by the atrium roof. Would stay here again.

we arrived at six on satarday evening and our room was still not available, when we had a late drink in the bar there was only one member of staff on duty and a large number of tables were littered with empty bottles and glasses. however the rooms were very clean and the beds very comfortable and all members of staff i dealt with were very helpful and polite, i would definitely stay in this hotel again

We both loved the location of the hotel but we felt the room was a little small for two adults. The bed was to small for the two of us. There was alot of noise from the corridor but that was not the hotels fault but other guests.

This hotel is clean and the kingsize rooms are a good size. However the staff in general were not the most friendly. There was a mix up with breakfast not being included with the stay however this was sorted.

Nottingham Crown PlazaThe hotel was very nice; but on arrival when we checked in we were given the keys to the wrong room. The cleaner lets us into the room and it was occupied by someone else. We returned to reception and were given another key card - how can this happen - I would like to feel confident that whilst I am staying in a hotel other guest would not have access to my room!

Really lovely but fairly compact room with free use of gym and pool. Excellent location as really close to theatre and cinema complex and only down the road from the main city centre area. We looked at the rates for room only and found them to normally be £142 p night so was chuffed at our saving of £73. I would definately stay at the crowne plaza again but only when the discount is this good.

Extra parking charges, check bill price with hotelExtra charge added for parking, not mentioned in booking £9 per day, troed to charge me room price as a walk in not the price i booked( did amend and honour price, but worth checking bill).Grumpy bar staff, wanted lots of booking info before serving drinks, room card not enough.

Pleasant stayFast check in, room well stocked with food, drinks and toiletries. Overlooked Rock City venue on a Saturday night but no disturbance at all. Good breakfast buffet with reasonable choice. Now my pet hate in hotel bedrooms. It's a smoke-free hotel. I hate smoke. The smell of stale cigarette smoke pervaded the room and the bedding - which meant leaving the air-conditioning on all night and a bad night's sleep. Would I stop here again? Only if they guaranteed genuine smoke-free rooms.

very goodEverything is absolutely wonderful... Just one thing about the swimming pool, while we were enjoying ourselves (me with two young girls) a group of young boys start to enjoy playing -Bless them-vigorously, not considering others at all.. but it was a little too much for a family as the pool is a little small this pushed us to leave early as there was too much harsh playing...we didn't enjoy it to the full.. I wonder if you could something about it.. Many thanks...We really love it...

Very enjoyable weekend at the Crowne PlazaVery happy with service we received at the Crowne Plaza. The rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good and offered a wide range of choice. The staff were friendly and helpful and the parking was very convenient and well priced. Would definitely stay here again.
