I liked that it is pet friendly & they did put us in room by the pool. The hotel to my standards was like a Holiday Inn (not 3 star) walls in room had hole and wall paper missing. I was traveling for nephew's graduation, so I really didn't want to pay large fee. I have had a nice 3 star hotel, but this time the hotel really didn't fit the 3 star rating. The hotel was previously a Ramada Inn which had been bought and changed into The Crowne Plaza, so the rooms still had the Ramada look and feel to them.

This is very much a conference hotel, as it has excellent facilites for meetings etc. Overall the hotel is very good, with friendly and helpful staff. The facilites are good, though it would be good if the coffee shop was open over the weekend. The rooms in the tower are best, as the rooms surrounding the pool, particularly on the ground floor seem to be a bit damp, or at least smell that way. I've stayed here quite a few times now and will happily return, it's a little run down in places but generally the standard is quite reasonable. The facilites are good, as it has a decent gym, a good bar and of course a nice pool.

ok place, staff pretty good but first room had an odor and sink didn't drain. Second room the alarm clock went off at midnight and then again at 6am. Will unplug in the future before I go to sleep.

Floor to ceiling windows were great. The connecting door was thin andnot soundproofed! Excellent staff. Excellent quality of accommodations. Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay that my girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed!

Upon checking in, I requested a lower level floor and was accommodated with a first floor room. The Room was so inviting...THE BED!!! There's this new sleep system that includes a duvet cover, lavendar bed mist, eye caps, sound CD, etc. There was a free shuttle but we didn't use it this time. The location is right near a Pappadeaux's, Fuddrucker's, Tinseltown, Hooters, Denny's, and a plethora of more!

I've stayed at many hotels in Houston and thought with a reputable name, this hotel should be ok. However, I was extremely disappointed that this hotel is rated a 3.5 star hotel. The room was VERY musty and the bathroom appeared to be unclean.

Staff brought a mini-refrigerator to store my toddler's milk within 3 to 5 minutes. I enjoyed my stay. No complaints at all. I would recommend Crowne. I had an extremely nice stay. Staff is excellent. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was pleasant. I booked Crowne as a last minute stay while on the road in Houston, Texas. I booked my room on a Friday - late night around 10PM with check in before 11PM - for a 2 night stay. I was pleasantly surprised it was so nice for a last minute booking. Staff was extremely accommodating.

The Crowne is luxury at an affordable price. There is nothing negative to say about the Crowne. I Have stayed at the Crowne Plaza a few times and I always have a great time the staff is friendly even to the late night insomniac I am. The food is good, rooms are always clean price is affordable.

Very nice for a Crown Plaza, fast free internet. Didn't deliver daily newspaper like most Crown Plazas.

Not much, if anything. Poor supply of amenities, towels, room not cleaned or made up, shower handle broken, motel feeling and noisy. Overall, best experience.

Quiet. Restaurant too expensive. Nice clean quiet place. But horrible traffic so you better know how to get there! Small restaurant with over-priced food. ($10 hamburgers).
