When we walked in the hotel look really nice and clean, which we thought was perfect, but as soon as we got in to the rooms we were not impressed at all!! The couch had stains all over it, the walls had food marks or some type of sticky substance on it, the towel I picked up had stains on it. They should really pay attention to the cleanness of the room just as they do with they main entrance and halls. Also, they should mention ahead of time that the hotel does not accept cancellations during holiday weekends. So if you plain on go to the hotel make sure you call them personally and ask them about their hotel policies.

Open & spacious, wide variety of choices. We received this hotel at last minute and we were very pleased. Hotel was nice surprise. We loved that they had computer to use & all the extras. Staff was very helpful. No complaints here.

Very nice, yet a bit older facilities with the friendliest and most helpfull staff I have encountered anywhere. Ill stay here again, or at least consider it....I cant help it, Im a bargain hunter!!!!! The only problems I encountered was a dripping faucet in the tub, and the room temp was difficult to regulate, but niether were bad enough to complain about, but did tell the desk at checkout to look into it before letting the room go out again.

One of the best things about this hotel was the staff. They were all helpful and courteous and seemed friendly. The rooms were nothing special and a bit pricey but okay. The place did look inviting. We had problems the first evening we checked into the hotel with the particular room not being clean in the bathroom. They gave us breakfast coupons and moved us the next morning to another room which was much cleaner. The property is not as close to the beaches and tourist areas as they relate. It is a fairly quiet area and was close so that we could visit with family in the area.

Nice hotel; great value; a bit far from beaches but easily accessible by car. When booking a room, highly recommend you rent a car as the hotel is a far way from a lot of the fun. Quiet location; ideal for relaxing.

Have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions only to find excuses for why the hot tub is not hot and the pool is to cold. Spoke with the front desk and manager but got nothing but an excuse and apology.

I stayed aat this hotel with my, then, girlfriend. The room was very nice and reasonably priced for the season (Early August). I would stay at this hotel again given the chance.

The hotel is listed as a three star establishment. We were shocked to find the air conditioner in serious disrepair with sharp jagged edges exposed. There was also significant mold on the walls of the bathroom and frequently on the walls that were exposed in the hallway where the carpeting baseboards had fallen away from the wall. You know you are not in a three star hotel when you walk down the hallway and several of the room numbers have fallen off the wall and are on the floor. I felt like going to the local home improvement store and purchasing some construction adhesive to glue all of the baseboards and room numbers back on the wall. Although the staff were friendly and provided us with a second room that did not have jagged edges on the airconditioner, we left in the morning given then poor conditions of the hotel.

The Crowne Plaza was very well maintained and my stay was guite nice, however, we did lose air conditioning for about 1 1/2 hours in the morning of my second day. Was not very pleasant, but, I survived. Also, housekeepping kept forgetting to wash the coffee pot. Other than that, it was a very nice place. I would use them again.

The staff was great. There was nothing within walking distance and it was some distance from the oceanfront. The room was nice, the bed was good, the staff was great.

This hotel offers great service and attention to detail. Free breakfast, internet and daily paper. If you're a Priority 1 member there's many more amenities. The room was clean and detailed. The bed was a pillow type and excellent. I received an upgrade witihout asking due to my membership. The staff were fantastic...friendly and helpful. The hotel is due for a renovation of the hall carpets and bathrooms. However, it was a great choice.

I enjoyed my one night stay at the Crowne Plaza in Virginia Beach. However, I thought the hotel could have used some handyman work. A strip between the wall and the carpet in the 4th floor elevator lobby needed repair and looked horrible. I wondered how clean the pool actually was. Our room service breakfast was wonderful. My son enjoyed the video games. Housekeeping was prompt -- when we needed more toilet paper, some was brought immediately (but the dispensers should have been stocked with full rolls or extra rolls left on the back of the toilet or sink). I thought the base price I paid was a little high, but I needed a room in that location and took what I could get. I felt safe, which was important to me; had I stayed in a budget motel, I wouldn't have felt as safe.

Convenient location, friendly staff, clean room. The pool and the surrounding area need to be clean. Overall good, family-friendly, rooms are recently renovated, clean, good staff. The only complain I have is the bathroom is bit of too small.

this hotel was nice, perfect for me, my office right across the interstate, the noise isn't too bad, the food is good and the bar is friendly. the rooms can be renovated, but i would stay agian.

The room was spacious however had no amenities for a business traveler. There was no desk, not even a table that could be used for a work surface. In order to work, I moved a bed-side table across the room, moved the luggage rack bside the table and drug the ottoman to the front of the two furniture pieces. With this make-shift desk, I was able to set up my computer and printer. Needless to say, this was not a comfortable way to work. The room was on the second floor and directly outside the room was an outside area-light for the parking lot. The drapes in the room were for the side of the window only. They were not wide enough to cover the entire window. The shears were-----shear. Therefore, there was no way to block out the light for a good night's sleep. And the bed was set so that the outside light was aimed at the bed. None of the above was conducive to a pleasant night's rest.

The Staff was wonderful to us! The elevators were having technical issues while we were there. This is my second time here in the last two monthsto Virginia Beach and this Crowne Plaza! I love it and Priceline! I did not like my first room, but the staff put me in a the room I truly wanted within minutes, i.e. bigger bed and with a fridge. Great pool, hot tub, restaurant, early morning coffee and everything very clean!
