The room reeked of smoke and was supposed to be a smoke-free room. They promised to send up an ionizer to help with the smell - it never came. We woke up in the middle of the night to a bad burning smell coming from the a/c. Couldn't go to sleep after that. They were too busy checking in other people to attend to the problems with the tv and smell in the room.

The Hotel is reasonably well furnished, but expensive considering it has an exceptionally poor restaurant, room service and an in-house Starbucks that closes at 8pm. Reception staff are fine, restaurant staff are surly and even accept the quality is poor. House keeping staff were really polite but are clearly minimum wage earners and need a tick schedule of what they have to do because if they have had training it did not work. Probably the training fault as they are very willing to put right problems when approached. I am sure there are better facility and less expensive hotels in the area.

This hotel was with in walking distance to all attractions and very clean and helpfull staff. Bar food not great in the grill but the breakfast was very good.

Bed was better than home, extreme comfortable. I have never stayed in a hotel and did not want to go home to my own bed. The comfort and cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional.

Wonderful hotel! Close to Niagara State Park w/Maid of Mist Boat Rides, tour trolleys, etc. Across the street from Seneca Casino--also, a great place. We were so busy doing all the sightseeing that we didn't even get a chance to check out the pool. Also you can walk about 3-4 blocks to the Rainbow Bridge & walk across to Canada. The only thing the Hotel needs to improve is when guests leave room service plates outside their rms., they aren't picked up in a timely fashion. We saw dishes lyijng around for 3 days. Other than that , we had a wonderful time.

Very nice room, comfortable matress and good location, a bit far from the falls compare to some inns. But if you know the walk way, it's not so far.

Convenient for our tourist planning. Rooms were not serviced properly. Our first set of rooms had to be changed as one of the rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. Then in the second room we found that there were not bath towels or coffee for the in-room coffee maker. Front desk was happy to make the changes for us and bring towels and coffee to the room.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, it was close to the american falls and near attractions. The room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

IT WAS OK THE NEXT TIME I WOULD DO SOMETHING OVERLOOKING THE FALLS. I thought I was to have a microwave and a fridge. It claimed to be continental breakfast but their was cost per head of $9.95 per head. It was ah.. ok...

The bedroom linen. The breakfast buffet they charged $10.99 for a continental breakfast and it taste bad! The hotel was in okaycondition. The rooms were neat but not as expected. The staff was friendly and helpful. The thing I didn't like about the hotel is the dining. I was charged $10.99 for what was basically a continental breakfast and the food was of low quality.

Beautiful hotel in a great location - close to the falls, casino and other attractions. Our first room had ants in the bathroom due to old crumbs on the floor. I was worried that ants could end up in our new room, or worse, our luggage so we didn't eat in the room. The next room had an old sock and a bit of old food under the bed. They gave us 20 off at the hotel restaurant where the food was lousy (as previously rated by other reviewers). The bed was very comfortable and our view of the casino across the street was nice at night. When I vacation, I only spend my nights at the hotel and try and get most of my fun at the attractions. If the rooms were clean, I'd give them a much higher score.

probably wouldnt stay here again, not because of the hotel, but would stay on the canadian side. Not much to do around this hotel, except for the casino. Lots more to do on the canadian side. We werent in our room very much so would probably just go with the HoJo on clifton hill. Right in the middle of everything..... The crown plaza was very nice though. Had a great time.

I liked how close the hotel was to the falls. The hotel staff was friendly and the beds are great. Had to wait too long for dinner. The same thing occurred at breakfast. The hotel amenities were average. You have to pay for parking. But the staff is very nice and helpful.

We had a very nice room but no view of the falls. however, it was very clean, well prepared good housekeeping service. The hotel sports bar/resturant wasn't that good. Slow service and poor food. Good TV tho. Go across the street to the casino for better food. Free parking and good location close to the falls,parks and casino.

Stayed at the Crowne for two night's.We enjoyed the location of the Hotel it is directly across the street from the casino and within walking distance to the falls and state park.Our non smoking room with two Queen size beds was very comfortable.The best beds we have had in a hotel in quite some time.Parking at the hotel is free make sure you get your ticket validated at the front desk.There is also a Starbucks and a comfy sports bar downstairs.This is an above average hotel and the price was right.

Location, cleanliness, and friendly staff what would I want more! The tour provided at the hotel is a bit pricey compared to similar/identical tours. The overall quality of this hotel is very good. The price is however, on the high end of the 3 stars due to limited hotel offering in the American side of the falls.
